Now I know what it feels like to be a Michigan State Fan.

Grasping defeat from the claws of victory.  The ultimate sparty NO.   From a 30-14 lead called back on a personal foul to a last second loss. Amazing.

No way, they self destructed. Blaming the loss on the refs is a copout. Hell, they should have had a pick 6 if it wasn't for another Sparty self destruction.

This loss was completely on the undisciplined nature of their program.

How in God's name are you punting from the 42 yard line on 4th and 2?  And Leveon Bell is on your team?  I always thought Dantonio was relatively savvy and ballsy with his playcalling but that was completely moronic.  Deserved to lose playing the game like that.

Oh and how awesome, ND pulls another one out of their asses.  All I want is for them to be exposed for the jokers they are.  Completely unbelievable

for earlier thinking "wow, it's looking like a great day for football today. Notre Dame losing 20-6 in the 4th and Nebraska losing 24-10 in the fourth."

How does that happen. What the fuck.

This was my thinking as well but have to admit I haven't seen enough of the play to get a really good viewpoint on the play.  From what I've pieced together, though, it seemed legit.  It doesn't matter if Bell saw it coming or not, it was to the front side of him and was fair play.  Let's just say I'm very pissed Sparty didn't get that win, only to help Michigan of course, and it's hurting me inside sticking up for them and their bad calls all afternoon.

How can Sparty ever beat us out for a recruit?

They are pathetic:  the coaching, the fans, the team discipline, the stadium, the game environment, everything.

Who would go there that had other choices?

Would be 2nd or 3rd string at Mich and potentially never even really play would pick MSU over us if there they were more likely to start and have an efficient carreer, and possibly give them a future in the NfL if they produced well.

For some, its the difference of baving your shot and never having your shot.

Is so full of delicious Sparty tears. Brian's going to have to use some kind of analytics package for Big Data to sift through it all.

Now living in Nebraska just got that much worse....they are world beaters again. This fanbase just makes you want to claw your eyes out. Two weeks ago they want everyone fired now they can't sing the praise of Pelini loud enough.

I will say I was cheering for Nebraska but that is only because I will be cheering for Penn State vs Neb next week. I would never stoop to cheering for msu.Ever.

we simply take care of business, beat Nebraska outright...and the parties mean nothing to us...but we didn't. Denard came up hurt, Bellomy looked like a freshman, and we lost. We put our fate in the hands of others. Don't place 'blame' anywhere but where it rests. Sucks, but we used to WIN championships...not take the backdoor. I think we're making progress to that point again, but we have nobody to blame but ourselves. SHOULD have beaten ND...SHOULD have beaten Nebraska. I hate excuses.

Keep in mind that a lot of championships we won in the past were shared.  We could finish 7-1 this season (which in the past would almost guarantee you a share of the title) and not even make the conference title game.  It's a different ballgame now with the two divisions.

After many DECADES of rooting against Sparty, it was diffcult not to be happy when something good happened to Nebraska. I kept having to  think: "Oh, wait..." However, even though it obliviously would have been good if they won, seeing them once again snare defeat from the jaws of victory was hardly disappointing.

OTOH, seeing Pitt do its best Sparty impression in South Bend was NOT fun!
