Notre Dame Trolled On Jeopardy

Submitted by Md23Rewls on

The answer to the question "What is Notre Dame" for $800 was "I should drop PE 070, Varsity Basketball, for Roman History at this Catholic Univ. in Indiana, but I got mad game!"

I'm sure every university has its own version of academic credits for sports or something, but I laughed.

I remember a Jeopardy where "Michigan Football" was a category. I thought all of the answers were easy but I am probably a little more exposed to it all...

This site is awesome!  I love the Michigan categories, but I also like the fact that there is access to so many Jeopardy games that were actually aired.

In the late 80s, I went to Michigan Law School with Chuck Forrest, who won the Jeopardy Tournament of Champions while he was in law school.  Between his initial 5 game sweep (back when there was a 5 game limit on winning) and returning to the Tournament of Champions, a group of us would watch Jeopardy every night with him after dinner.  He would carefully keep track of all the categories and the difficulty of questions to help him prepare.  There was no source of information like this available then.  Chuck would have loved it.

Same category, $400:

"Dropped Bankruptcy for Bloodfeuds, at this Ann Arbor Univ.'s law school 'cause Bloodfeuds sounded awesome!"

I don't for the life of me see how this is a $400 clue - Ave Maria's been gone for a few years now, and I don't think the A2 campus of Cooley has that much of a profile yet - but I'm clearly biased, what with my UMLS J.D.  I also took Bloodfeuds.  Which was awesome.
