Notre Dame - A New Player Departs
Maybe he's not a fan of poultry.
fig things...
Could be that a private, religious school isn't a super fun place to go to college (especially compared to B1G, SEC and Pac12 schools) and the kid didn't realize until he got there and thought, "Wait a minute..."
Ok...add "isolated" to the adjective list.
"Now that you're here, we're going to take you to the funnest place in all of South Bend. Chicago!"
I am required to upvote this, but do so gladly.
...and the escorts were gone.
As was the fun.
ha your comment reminds me of that scene in the program when omar epps steps off the bus at camp to no fanfare
another worm shit freshman!
Brian Kelly is a jerk.
to be lumped in with Brian Kelly
This is video will never get old for me. After he ignores the pleas that the guantlet is facing the wrong way, he sends his player through, potentially risking injury, certainly risking embarassment. Upon finally recognizing that everyone else was right, and he was wrong, he proclaims, "You guys are freaking kidding me!"
Pure class:
Or maybe the kid just showed up to campus and realized it wasn't a great fit for him. It does happen. Happened with me and Michigan. There are some things you just don't realize on visits.
"No man was expected to start. Could this be a result of amplified intensity on the part of the coaching staff?"
Um......
Thank you, I now know where the root of my nightmares tonight will be coming from.
I've watched this 5 times through and still can't figure it out. Just wondering how his shirt magically fell down while both his hands were pulling down his pant legs?
Looks like the kid is hiding in his left pant leg when he starts. That would put the poor kids head right in the guys......
Yeah, he's walking awkwardly when he has it on and you can see it move when he sits on it. Still a good trick as long as you don't drop the little girl.
I'm pretty sure there's a trap door in the stage. Like you said the head moves as he's sitting on it. I don't think it is big enough to hold her.
I, too, think she's in his left pant leg. You can see a bulge there when he walks out, and the bulge gets smaller as he's sitting on top of the big blue head.
so wrong.
He just kind of tosses the head wherever. He wouldn't have been able to place it exactly where it needs to be. Plus I don't think they built a stage with a trap door just for this little trick.
It looks like the head moves, she might have been in there. Why else would he go back and sit on it? I did a google image search and can only find the gif, not the whole video or a reference to where it comes from.
wait, what???
SOME GOOD FUCKING NEWS
It definitely seems that Notre Dame has had much more than their fair share of players who leave the team shortly after arriving on campus or who never show up at all, and that has been more frequent since Brian Kelly has been there. I can't say why with any certainty, but my guess would be a lot of people fall in love with the beautiful campus, the football tradition and great facilities but when the recruiting pitches stop and it becomes all about hard work, South Bend, Indiana is kind of a boring place, it is a very conservative atmosphere and there is less of a party scene than at some of the other schools they were recruited by.
Plus getting rained on by spittle from a purple faced leprechaun probably gets old pretty quick too.
I actually hire a purple-faced leprechaun to spit on me. To each his own, I guess.
His offer sheet was underwhelming, with Missouri being the most notable offer besides ND.

If he did indeed transfer ultimately, then it should be noted perhaps that his other offers included the likes of Illinois, Indiana, Purdue, Iowa State, South Florida and CIncinnati. According to the Elkhart Truth, he visited Syracuse in December before deciding to go to Notre Dame, although that perhaps means nothing without first hearing the actual reason he is leaving the team and what his definition of a "better fit" might be. If nothing else, it is a curious thing to leave a team within weeks of arriving.
there could only be 1 reason...UNIFORMZ/Jersey #. Must have not been given the #2 without earning it
/s
no one has ever arrived at Michigan and left within the first week or two. Not recently at least. /s
