But what is notable about this comment? Seriously, not trying to be a dick, but I could have lived without know this little tidbit.
Edit* I can't seem to delete this, but when I read it over I couldn't see how someone could possibly not take offense to this statement, so I will apologize instead. Just because I don't find interesting certainly doesn't mean it won't be to someone else. Sorry again.

Its notable because it should remind us fans to quiet down while OUR offense is on the field. It will help them out to hear calls and communicate on the field. We need to do the opposite though when ND is on the field.

but I really think it's just a result of the freshmen who don't understand about when to cheer and when to be quiet. Anyone who's been to more than one football game knows that you don't cheer when your team is on offense. It's like screaming before a serve at a Tennis match.
