A notable quote from Steve Schilling

On a much louder Michigan Stadium: “I couldn’t tell but I wasn’t paying attention to that too much. We had some communication issues - it was loud - and I think the fans need to remember they need to be quiet when we’re on offense and get loud when the defense is out there. It’s a good atmosphere; it’s always great in there, a great place to play, and I think it’s going to be great Saturday.”

But what is notable about this comment? Seriously, not trying to be a dick, but I could have lived without know this little tidbit. Edit* I can't seem to delete this, but when I read it over I couldn't see how someone could possibly not take offense to this statement, so I will apologize instead. Just because I don't find interesting certainly doesn't mean it won't be to someone else. Sorry again.

I had editted my post long before any of these replies. I apologized to the OP for being an ass and mentioned that it would likely be notable to others, even if not to myself. It seems I have offended many by my post so I guess i will apologize to everyone this time.

but I really think it's just a result of the freshmen who don't understand about when to cheer and when to be quiet. Anyone who's been to more than one football game knows that you don't cheer when your team is on offense. It's like screaming before a serve at a Tennis match.
