On a much louder Michigan Stadium: “I couldn’t tell but I wasn’t paying attention to that too much. We had some communication issues - it was loud - and I think the fans need to remember they need to be quiet when we’re on offense and get loud when the defense is out there. It’s a good atmosphere; it’s always great in there, a great place to play, and I think it’s going to be great Saturday.”
A notable quote from Steve Schilling
But what is notable about this comment? Seriously, not trying to be a dick, but I could have lived without know this little tidbit.
Edit* I can't seem to delete this, but when I read it over I couldn't see how someone could possibly not take offense to this statement, so I will apologize instead. Just because I don't find interesting certainly doesn't mean it won't be to someone else. Sorry again.
So that is one perspective from someone on the field who knew what it was like before and now after...
Notable maybe that people at the game need to be quieter when we have the ball? Or maybe its a tiny bit more proof that it is louder? That's what I took from it
with his teamates because of crowd noise while on offense at home I consider notable to M fans. Yes.
Its notable because it should remind us fans to quiet down while OUR offense is on the field. It will help them out to hear calls and communicate on the field. We need to do the opposite though when ND is on the field.
I had editted my post long before any of these replies. I apologized to the OP for being an ass and mentioned that it would likely be notable to others, even if not to myself. It seems I have offended many by my post so I guess i will apologize to everyone this time.
If only the QB had some universal signal for the crowd to quite down...
but that made me lol at my desk. Good one.
boards. QB raises arms and slowly lowers telling crowd to quiet down.
No fewer than 9,826 posts on this board have been telling me that I should be screaming my fool head off the entire time.
is on offense. The QB needs to talk to the other players. That's why you scream on D, so the opposing QB can't talk to his guys.
I REALLY didn't think I had to put this in my post, but for your benefit:
