Notable Football Jersey Number Changes
- Mike McCray changed from #3 back to #9. He wore #9 for fall camp 2013 and changed a couple games into the season
- De'Veon Smith changed from #32 back #4. He wore #4 until Minnesota week.
- Reon Dawson changed from #20 to #30
- Will Hagerup changed from #43 to #40. This due to the three guys including two on special teams wearing the number last season when Will was held out.
- Garrett Miller changes from #93 to #55.

TIL that there was someone named Garrett Miller on the team. He has big shoes to fill with that #55.

Also, it's INTERNET tough guy. Anybody can kick a computer's ass, but it takes a REAL man to take on the Internet.

Hagerup is present. That is good news.

very good news, he was solid few yrs ago. even better news would be wile working daily on keeping those kickoffs within the lines. O and D would obviously benefit greatly from improved ST units this fall and any field position advantages they could provide...hagerup is great start to improved kick game

That's four numbers in four years--he was 24 and 1 his last two years at Trotwood.

I could be misremembering something here, but wasn't the original number change for Smith so they could use him on special teams without any sort of conflict last season? If I remember correctly, they had wanted to use him on special teams with Cam Gordon, who was of course #4 on defense. Again, could be wrong, but I had thought that was the primary driver there.

Hagerup has been #43...is now #40...any chance he is just circling his target in hopes that the NCAA allows three digit numbers?
(I joke, it was too hard to refrain. No insult nor assumptions intended...and may in fact not be funny)

that I have no idea what your point is. What's the 3 digit reference about?

But I'm glad to see him on the team...
He sat the entire year and he's back to punt for us this year.
I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet because we're a long way from the first game and he's got a big holiday hurdle to get over less than 2 months from now...but he's on his way.
I was so disappointed in Stonum when he couldn't keep it together. Especially because I know he's a good kid. I hope Hagerup can find a way to finish on top.

I'm glad Hagerup is back. Now, if only he can keep his shit together and stop smoking weed. Wait until after you graduate, kid. It's not hard to be patient and follow the rules.

I want to see D. Smith run behind a decent line. That dude does not go down easy. It'll be sweet to see a powerback #4.
