So much time to kill, not alot of tailgating in Dallas man. Gotta look ahead

I parked at a meter last year for a game. They have some 7 hour meters I think? Cheap too. You can also park downtown Evanston as well across from BDubs and they will shuttle you. Either way it's not hard to park.

Also there are no "bad seats" in the place. It's like a large high school field. Now, back to my pre ND game beer...

Bottom 5-8 rows in M sections in nE corner are awful bc there's a walkway in front of you and people are walking it rough all game long. Worst I've had there...otherwise even end zone are okay but so low hard to see other side well.

Went a few years back...second the oversized HS stadium feelings, and we just showed up and bought tickets in the parking lot at face value off of some folks who were tailgating

The El to Evanston.

Michigan seats are on the visitor sideline near the open end zone. If you are sitting in the endzone, I would recommend row 10 or higher since the walkway is right in front of the first row, which I believe is technically row 5. I am looking to go again this year as I did two years ago and am looking for seats in the corner of the endzone on the visitor side. We stayed at a hotel in Evanston and rode the train to the stadium and walked back after the game. This year thinking about staying downtown Chicagp and taking the train in again.

As some have mentioned the Michigan fans are on east side of the stadium right behind the bench till quite a few sections in the south end zone. Michigan fans end up pretty well dominating the stadium when we play there. Parking sucks as there are some lots you can tailgate in and some you cannot. Some of the other lots are quite far from the stadium but they do have buses that will pick you up from those lots to take you to the stadium. Not bad getting to the stadium then but after the game its a mad rush to get on one of those buses to get back to the lots. Then the buses stop at quite a few stops so hope that you are one of the first lots they stop at.

Purple line Central St. station is about a quarter mile from the stadium.

In Evanston near the El or even in Chi. If it's nice it's not even an impossible walk from downtown Evanston. Parking near the stadium is a drag though and it's in a surprisingly residential neighborhood so getting there and away in a car is painful and time-consuming. I used to live in that neighborhood!

city of Chicago, be aware of the new speed cameras, some of which will be sending out $35/$100 tickets (some will still be in the "warning" stage at the time of the game).

They play NU...
No advice for you!

Evanston is easy to get around. However, 2 years ago, it was early in the season,. Being a November game, if the weather is lousy, that will make it even easier to find parking. Also, if Northwestern has lost games by then, their fair-weather fans will have dropped out. However, if miraculously Michigan and Northwestern go into the tilt both undefeated, all bets are off, and it would make it much harder.
I'm personally banking on NU losing, so that I can pick up a couple tickets game day. (I refused to pay more than $100 bucks now with their new "dynamic pricing" model.)
