Northwestern basketball ticket price

I'm considering going to the game at Northwestern tomorrow, but was surprised to see that tickets (a) start at $35 face value and (b) aren't available for any less on secondary sellers like stubhub. Considering they don't even half-way fill up their arena I would have expected to get in for very cheap. Am I missing something? Does anyone have experience trying to scalp tickets for Northwestern basketball games?

The arena they are playing in seats 16,000 because Ryan arena is under renovations and they haven’t had more than 10,000 at a single game. My guess is you can get tickets at the door for way cheaper

If you order before midnight CT on the NU ticket site using the promo code UMCHI you should be able to get them for $20 if there are still tickets left in our Chicago alumni club block.

You’ll have to pick them up at will call tomorrow.

We’ve sold several hundred tickets through the alumni club and I’m sure there will be many other Michigan fans there.

Wear maize. It will stand out more and show just how large a presence we have there.

I'm in Chicago had been watching ticket prices for this game for a month. They were available for as low as $10 on Stubhub UNTIL we beat MSU. Then prices doubled (at least). You might be able to get some outside the arena, but I've never noticed a strong scalping presence outside Allstate.
