North South All star game

http://www.jjhuddle.com/news/articles/2010/4/24/south-escapes-the-horse… JJ huddle article and video on the game. Antonio Kinard and Jibreel Black both played well. Christian Bryant managed to get ejected for throwing the football to hard at the ref. FWIW I also read another article on it somewhere where Black is quoted as saying the next time he plays in the horseshoe Pryor better watch out.

I see Black being our next Brandon Graham and if he does become him than Pryor better watch out! Thanks for the update beast too.

...states that Jibreel Black was the South's Defensive MVP. This probably had something to do with that selection:
The North drove for a first down at the South 5 early in the fourth quarter. But on fourth-and-goal there, South’s Jibreel Black sacked Tucker to snuff the threat.
Buckeye commit Christian Bryant, (Scout 4*, #8 CB, Glenville HS).
Bryant was actually ejected from the game after tossing the ball toward an official after a third-quarter kick return. “I threw the ball to the ref and he thought I threw it too hard,” he said. “I didn’t mean anything by it. I just tossed him the ball. I guess he felt disrespected from that.”

I agree that Ohio has more talent than Michigan for football, but it's hard to snatch the best athletes from Ohio State.. We need to keep the focus at home and continue to get the best players from Detroit, Fint, and Saginaw. Dantonio has been recruiting the state pretty well so we can't lose focus.

It may or may not work out as he thinks, but I do like his attitude. Those who are more traditional might subscribe to the "work hard, keep your mouth shut, and good things will happen" adage, but I like seeing some swagger out there. The unofficial "book" on the Wolverines after Bo stopped coaching has been that you never knew which team will show up from game to game. If there is one silver lining to the last three years, it's that Michigan is evolving into one of "those" teams with a "chip on its shoulder." A Michigan program with modern schemes and extreme motivation will be a nightmare scenario for the rest of the conference as soon as the talent base is back to par. When the personnel and swagger are fully in place, there will be no question about which Michigan team is going to show up.
