what?  this stuff already happens and it happens all the time.  and msu already has all the ammo they need.  youd be hard pressed to find a single day wo some form of negative recruiting.

coaches will use "weve been more competitive, won bigger games, developed more players and had more players drafted lately than x rival" rather than "yeah so did you hear about that one kid at our rival school"

If the King coach wants to shut out Michigan good luck being able to steal other high schools kids like he has been doing. It was the same with Wilcher and OSU. You can't shut out colleges and expect Detroit kids/suburban kids to come play for you

Well this is just the official bad news thread for today. First Norfleet, and then read Magnus's comment that Pipkins is likely to get a medical hardship (and Fox, but I think I heard that one elsewhere).

What exactly is the worry over recruiting? Dantonio to recruit: "Don't even consider signing with Michigan, son. They make you take your finals over there! Over here, we've got a far more accomodating arrangement."

Sad to see him go, but if he's skipping finals, there's no excuse to not give him the pink slip.

Harbaugh won't put up with any BS from any one of his players. Attrition was bound to happen, but the ones who stay will be all the better for it.

The only thing more annoying than reflexive Norfleet over-hyping is the reflexive need to bash him as "overrated" or "not a producer".

He was a fun guy to watch on a shitty offense, even if he wasn't a star. Plenty of Michigan players have contributed more, many more have contributed less. No need to piss on his grave.

For everyone ripping his contrinutions, isn't he our all time kickoff return yards leader?  I know that's a function of the number of returns, but his averagbe was almost 25 yards which is darn good.

And I'm not going to repeat the grades meme people always seem to go to when we still have no idea why he was dismissed.
