Wanted to keep the good vibes from the past two days going.  There's a quote in the article from his H.S. coach about Dennis taking care of business this summer.  The article seems to indicate that this is grade related.

The most interesting (exciting) part is a quote from Harbaugh in April stating excitement about using him in all three phases of the game.  I thought there was a concern that playing time would be an issue for him.  I hope this quote means P.T. is there for him as long as he makes the grade.

If this is true, it would be awesome to see him back for his final year in the M&B.  However, since this is coming from his HS coach, I will wait, anxiously, to hear it from JH, and the coach was spewing all sorts of nonsense earlier when the story broke.  COME ON DENNIS!!!

Happy everything is going to work out after all the drama that first came from this situation. The best thing for Norfleet is to finish and get that Michigan degree.

I am not a big fan..Norfleet is all talk no action..I mean sure hes fast BUT looking back his career has been a series of "almosts" never able to break free always getting tripped up and tackled...LOTS of potential but rarely actually delivers

I couldn't give a shit less about on field stuff. Get your UM degree, man. It will serve you well. NFL not likely and all....

good for him.  hope the cat straightens out whatever issues crept up and resumes hitting his books and playbooks.  if hes taking summer classes, its a good bet hell graduate soon which is most important - truly awful to see situations where free educations via scholarshps are pissed away for easily avoidable reasons.

smooth things over with his teammates and coaches and get back to the grind, hopefully with more mature mindset (though details seem sketchy so its tough to really comment).  itd be great for norfleet to try to earn some PT his senior year - itd be tough to miss final year.

ive never really been on the norfleet hype train and certainly dont envision a role for him in all 3 phases, though im sure he can help the team once again.  hes a decent returner and can be positive player in the right situations but hes not the trindon holiday (first undersized return guy that came to mind) lightning in a bottle type many want to believe.  and many saw the failed defensive experiment during the spring game, as well as his hit or miss hands at WR.

give him a shot to win ST snaps again and then to try to earn some time at WR or RB in sub package situations just like everyone else.  but i love the dudes attitude - its obvious he enjoys playing football and loves the experience, his teammates, etc and those are the type of teammates everyone wants.  good luck 23

Part 1

MGoBlog:  How long do we have to wait, before if we know he's reinstated?

Nick Baumgardner:  Your guess is as good as mine.

Norfleet:  I'll beat you two apart! I'll take you both together!

MGoBlog:  I guess not very long.

Norfleet:  Why isn't there practice?

MGoBlog:  You've been mostly dismissed all spring.

Nick Baumgardner:  We had Sam Webb try to find out when you're back.

Norfleet:  Who are you? Are we enemies? Why am I on this blog? Where's Harbaugh?

Nick Baumgardner: Let me explain. No. There is too much. Let me sum up. Harbaugh is running camps for the next ten days. So all you have to do is take care of business, practice your ass off, steal the show, make the 2-deep. After I interview Count Rudock.

Norfleet:    That doesn't leave much time for dilly-dallying.

From what I recall, he was not all that many credits away from a Michigan degree, and I would very much enjoy seeing him get through all this and get that degree, not to mention get his moments on the field for his team. I shall keep my fingers crossed for him this summer. Eyes on the prize, as they say.
