We'll get this one started -

BTN has Eastern Michigan / Michigan State or Purdue versus Southern Illinois

ESPN is going with Georgia Tech versus Virginia Tech

ESPN2 will be taking on Bowling Green versus Wisconsin

ESPNU will be curing insomia with Iowa and Pitt

ESPNNEWS, supposedly, will carry Western Illinois versus Northwestern

ESPN3 is carrying its normal grab bag - Maryland / Syracuse, Duke / Tulane, Marhsall / Akron and others.

It's sad when your best choices are Georgia Tech - Va Tech and Wisconsin - BGSU.

Though, BGSU just scored after Wisconsin fumble TO to tie the game up at 7-7. It's early, I know, but....BIG TEN!

Pitt gets Iowa to bite on the "Here we are, not running....you don't see this" play for the fifth time this game and promptly tackles the RB forward into the end zone. 7-0 Pitt.

BIG TEN!

They're doing exactly what they are supposed to do against a bad team. I envy that. Perfect execution, great blocking, Langford is finding the holes, the defense is hitting the QB, they forced a turnover, had a monster punt return, etc etc ... They are a well oiled machine.

What was the score, again?  The only way Michigan doesn't look "great" against a team they more than doubled up in yards, 1st downs, penalty yardage, and score is if you quantify your assessment by removing those parts of the game.

If you want to argue that Michigan didn't look great AT ALL TIMES against Miami, feel free.  However, your negativism can't persuade that they didnt look great overall.

He put in his backup QB with 1:30 left in the 1st quarter.  What do you want him to do?  There were backups in on defense on the 2nd drive.  EMU has 7 yards.  Their defense is horrid.  They lose to teams like Bowling Green 50-7.  Its almost impossible not to run up the score on them - a mediocre Florida team that was in a dogfight with Kentucky beat them 55-0.

It looks like what top tier Big 10 teams used to do to MAC schools 20 years ago.  Basically this is UMass from 3-4 years ago.

Listening to Tom Izzo talk about his relationship with Dantonio, talking about national championships and excellence... It just makes me cringe thinking about Brady Hoke and Dave Brandon blathering on about how the goal at Michigan has always been to win the Big 10, "big boy football," and all that other garbage.

These guys are doing something right up there, and we look like a circus sideshow.
