noon games open thread
The noon slate isn't too great, but football is football. I suppose I will be watching the Northwestern/Iowa game.

Thank you Minny! I hope we don't need the help, but it's always good to see Nebraska with another loss.

Nice, Nebraska going down. Only good for us.
If we beat MSU next week, that would put us at the top of the Leaders/Legends/Velveeta division right?

Maybe Minn should just hire the interim coach on a permanent basis.

Miami pickes of the Wake QB and ends their game.
Congrats to Minnesota though, going bowling!

Productive weekend for us, and we didn't even do anything.
So, did we want NW or Iowa to win? I'm not sure either way.

I am very glad we played Minnesota already. I am also very glad that we still have to play Northwestern and Nebraska.

That Minnesota win a few weeks ago actually looks like a decent win. Clearly Nebraska and NW aren't as good as previously advertised...still, Minnesota beat them both. Gotta give them credit, they've looked like a pretty solid football team last couple games.

Barring any Husker catastrophes, the final line on the Nebraska defense is 432 yards allowed spread over 70 plays, or 6.17 yards per snap on average. Most glaring were the 273 rushing yards allowed.....also that INT which ends the game.
You tried, Nebraska. It was chuckle-worthy, but you did.

And BoPeep's supposed to be a defensive guy.

Pelini surprisingly classy with Minny acting head coach Tracy Clays there.
Nebraska fans on fire at present.

Good for them though.

"... so if you could just get off the team bus now, that'd be greaaaaaat."
Bo gets the Kiffin Experience. Ouch. At least Nebraska will win TWIS. That's one win for the week.

To make this situation even more embarrassing, this meeting may happen at a non-descript truck stop somewhere between Omaha and Lincoln.

CorNation is on fire. Active thread is called "Post-Game Suicide Prevention Thread".
TWIS can just be a link to that site.

I was at App State game so I understand the CorNation response; we're probably the wrong fanbase to point any fingers.

Happy for Minnesota. Been saying this all along about Nebraska, though. This defense is just much too poor for the team to be taken seriously as a Big 10 title contender. A win against sparty next week would be absolutely huge for our season, assuming the offense has righted itself and we play smart football from here on.
