Two free first downs thanks to LSU penalties on just that drive. I am  thinking that Les Miles is wondering why he can't get first downs this easily....

....and LSU has another defensive tackle hobbling a little after that play. They've got one or two more, I think, before they start throwing freshmen to the wolves though, so no worries yet, right?

ESPN reporting Golson for ND will not start.  If they keep going with Rees, it is possibly the dumbest thing they could do.  He's like Tim Lincecum.  He's nice in relief, terrible in starts.

Temple is continuing their revenge tour right now. Up 10-0 on undefeated Rutgers early. Would be pretty funny to see Temple run the table in the Big East after being allowed to rejoin.

Hope playing for 3 pts inside of the 10. Surprised by that one...go for the throat Hope.

Of course I fully understand why he was playing for 3 after that god awful decision.

Purdue with a 19 play, almost 10 minute drive per ESPN gamecast...I guess they liked it so much when we dropped a 17-play drive on them that they're dinking and dunking Ohio all the way down the field.

And yes, notwithstanding the long pass to start the game, that might be because that is their only offensive option (which is somewhat confirmed by the endzone interception...)
