Noon Games Open Thread

Submitted by jcgold on

With ND finishing off Navy, it's time to move on to the noon games. Here's what I'll be watching:

Ohio (NTO) at Penn St. - ESPN

Northwestern at Syracuse - ESPN2

Miami (NTM) at Ohio (YTO) - BTN

Western at Illinois - ESPNU

You can get a full listing of games using this handy chart: http://www.the506.com/ncaaf/

And for online streams, try thefirstrow.eu

Discuss and enjoy.

Shane looking sharp against st ign. Three pick in end zone first drive. It was the second of the two dropped passes. St ign. Is pretty good. Again though Shane on point.

Wow - game over PSU is going to lose this - rough start to a new era. If they struggle this year you wonder if some of those recruits that were standing by their commitments start dropping

Penn State is an embarassment to the conference.

But ESPN will say anything, "Bobcats looking for the biggest win in program history!"  Does ESPN list "Must be a damn buffoon" when they post announcing jobs?

Penn State looked a bit tired and definitely out of their comfort zone on defense. This could also be Ted Roof showing why he is often mentioned as being one of the modern masters as a  defensive coordinator...oh wait...

This new helmet rule is stupid. Syracuse player rips the qb's helmet off and removes him from the field for third down. From now on they're gonna stop teaching players to strip the ball and start teaching them to strip the helmet...

Not surprised at all, thought the bobcats matched up well against Penn St all offseason. Good to see they could weather the conservative play calling from Solich. Their defense really buckled down in the second half.

If the Northwestern DL doesn't jump, he gets a sack. Never leave your feet unless the ball is already in the air.

He's lucky that pass was barely out of bounds
