players being unfortunate collateral damage.

Exactly.

includes extremely central, powerful figures

And they've been canned.  They're gone.  And they won't be the last ones fired and there will probably be some people going to jail in addition to Sandusky.

Cheering against PSU is rather pointless at this point, IMO.  At this point with the coaching staff gutted and the major persons involved fired,  rooting against PSU is just rooting against the current players.   They didn't do anything wrong.

Agreed. Most of the fans made it about JoePa when it clearly had nothing to do with who he was. The fact that it was Paterno made the story so much bigger, but even if it was Billy Bob the water boy I'd be calling for his head. A lot of them still don't get it, either. The riots made them look like horrible people, and for that, I say screw them.

In case anyone missed that PSU-Illinois barnburner a couple weeks ago, it looks like PSU and Nebraska may be producing a repeat showing. PSU was inept as usual on their drive and Nebraska has negative rushing yards so far.

TD MSU

Ed:  Anyone else see the ticker at the bottom of the screen?  PSU received bomb threats for Beaver Stadium

Ed. Ed. Glad the refs got that catch right for MSU /notoverlastweek

I think our offense was just uncomfortable.  Clearly the rotating of Devin/Denard isn't working, and if Toussaint is off, then we have no run game...  Except Denard, who, we were trying to run from center.

Really the offense was tailored to Denard's weaknesses last week.

T-E-R-R-I-B-L-E  the Iowa team we got DISGRACED by last week is.  Still fucking pissed about that totally lame performance....never should have come down to one series.  Iowa has their worst team in at LEAST 20 years, and Illinois isn't much better.  Illinois BARELY beat WMU and NW...teams we handled with relative ease.  We should NOT lose today.

Unlike many of you, I like Borges.  He didn't drop passes, fumble, or miss any tackles.

but seriously, I don't recall an Iowa team any more inept than this one.  Remember too, the Big Ten is in a down year, and I'm pretty sure Iowa barely finishes over .500,

Also, I'm venting.  You get that, right?  Fact remains...Iowa is a bad team by their standards.

that he is a current student.  I know this much for sure...the dude has a seriously awesome first row seat in the Big House student section...that's part of why he is on the big screens so often.  The other part is, well, he's LLOYD FUCKIN" BRADY, fergodsakes.
