The Big Ten would likely go 8-0 against the Big East head-to-head. Would anyone be picking the BE in a matchup of Rutgers/Louisville/Cincinnati against Ohio/Michigan/Nebraska? Pitt/Syracuse/UConn wouldn't be favored against State/NU/Wisconsin. A matchup of IU/Illinois against anyone doesn't inspire confidence, but neither does USF/Temple.

Two weeks ago I was driving back home from Des Moines to my house in SE Iowa. The Hawkeyes had just spanked Minnesota, and MSU was in the process of losing to OSU. Famed former Hawkeye radio announcer Jim Zabel (think Bob Ufer-level) was trolling MSU, and guaranteed that Iowa would beat MSU.
Dominic Alvis, d-lineman for Iowa, is my wife's colleague's nephew.
