VT might be having a terrible season by their standards, but they've still got vastly more talent than Duke does, and eventually that takes its toll the later in the game you get.

Bell has an interesting running style. He never looks like he's moving very fast, and his moves seem kind of slow and deliberate, but he makes people miss all the time.

Yeah, for a guy his size, he has amazing agility. I would deffinatly take him on out team.

Does anyone remember when Amp Lee from Florida State came to the Big House? I remember screaming at the TV, "he's WALKING...tackle him!" That guy was a Walking Back, not a Running Back, yet he could make people miss and then turn on the jets!

He basically walks to the hole and just hits the jets. He has great agility and accleration for his size,

I don't think they're going to fire him, he's revered here (I live in Austin). But, it's becoming apparent that Mack isn't getting very much out of what has to be one of the most talent-filled programs in the nation -- at least on paper. They've had some weird "down years" despite bacially having the pick of the litter in the state every year. Everyone was saying they their defense was going to be elite this year, but they've not shown up. I think they need new blood in the program, bu they're not going to fire Mack, they love him here too much.

For some reason Mack Brown's last few years have really reminded me of John Cooper at Ohio. Underperforming every year considering the amount of talent on the team and available for recruiting. Could be that a few more losses to Oklahoma will force Texas's decision just as Cooper's poor record against Michigan led to him getting canned.

I think the fact that Illinois is awful, it is fall break for the students, weather is less than ideal and it has a 3:30 pm start time will kill crowd attendance today. Not much incentive to watch the worst team in the Big Ten play in lousy weather conditions if you are just an average Michigan fan.

It's the rain and 40 degree weather. I'd take 10 below over 35 and rain. Not that I'd turn down the opportunity to go to today's game if I were offered tickets, but I can see where people would stay away.

And the Toledo loss was way worse. App. St was a national championship team that would've finished ranked 25-35 in the D1 that year.
Plenty of NFL talent on that team as well.
