No upsets?!?

Not one upset this week in CFB. Very peculiar indeed, looks like we will be 15 for yet another week because nobody lost I front of us.

of us.

Today, we saw a number of possibilities--individually unlikely but in aggregate reasonably likely-expire without our needed one spot boost.  Our best chance next week is Okla St over Okla, then LSU over Georgia (will Georgia fall enough?), and then S Miss over Houston.  After that, we can hope that one of two major underdogs comes through, or that Clemson destroys VT and the voters take note of VT's lack of a Top 25 win, or pray for the miracle that New Mexico beats Boise in an epic upset.

It's impossible for someone not to loose Infront of us, but depends on who. If Georgia> LSU, VT>Clemson, OU>OSU, Wisconsin>MSU, a scenario like that (very unlikely but not impossible) would kill our bcs chances.

Yeah, we need GA to lose, more or less.

But on the subject of upsets tonight: I got out a clothespin and snapped it on my nose, put on my darkest Wayfarers, and turned on the ND game to root for them. And firkdingblast if that team doesn't annoy me even when I want them to win. They should be up in this game, but they're completely self-destructive. Chip Kelly is testing his new anger management skills tonight. So now I'm just enjoying ND losing. Kind of a win-win for me, really.

LOL, even for Zook, the second half collaps was terrible.  Illinois looked pretty good, and their defense is pretty good overall, but the Zooker just can't seem to make it happen with good talent.
