they would be spared from the massacre that they would get from GT. Iowa offense is terrible and they don't have their starting QB, Stanzi(not that I would say that he's a good QB but he's terrible). I'm expecting a big GT win because Iowa defense is going to have to be disciplined against GT's triple option attack.

GT's offense can make any run defense look bad even a great run defense. Believe me, I watched them destroying elite run defense time and time again.

I would bet my money on GT winning big. With Iowa focusing on stopping against the run, GT can throw over the top to Demaryius Thomas, often with great success since Thomas can outjump against anybody.

I don't think so. Iowa's defense is the most disciplined I've seen all year and play great defense despite their offense. Georgia Tech can pass sure, just only passing to one guy, which they do, is hardly a recipe for success. A corner with a safety over the top will neutralize Thomas, and Iowa's great front seven might be the toughest (other than North Carolina, maybe) that the Jackets have seen all year. Without any Stanzi plays and the return of Adam robinson, it will be a hard-fought low-scoring game.

safety can't be counted to help over the top against Thomas because he has to help to support against the triple option attack, otherwise GT is going to run all over them. Even then, I've seen Thomas make plays with 3 guys around him. He may be the best WR that Iowa will face all season long.

I've seen GT dominated against disciplined defense and they still run for over 300-400 yards with relative ease. They shredded against VT, UNC, Mississippi State, and they were all good against the run. Paul Johnson will figure out the defensive assignment and there will be big plays. If Iowa DC keep 6-7 guys in the box, I'd expect GT to go over 400 rushing yards.

Negbang me all you want but come Jan, you'll see that GT will dominate Iowa. Iowa isn't good and I don't expect a close game.

3 or so years ago when the Packers vs. Cowboys game wasn't going to be shown here in the UP due to some NFL region issues, enough calls were made to our House Rep. Stupak for him to personally call Goodell and settle the issue.

you're going to see more of these conflicts in the future. ND football and Sunday Night NFL will be the sports bargaining chips for Comcast to raise their revenue directly (and their competitors' cost basis indirectly) by asking more per subscriber from the non-comcast cable and satellite operators. Some day I'll be heading to the sports bar to see M at ND because DirecTV won't have NBC.

Corporate America, burn in hell.

If this were Michigan in the Orange Bowl (and I wish it were), we would be burning down every block from Monroe to Muskegon, back down to Jackson and up to Iron Mountain.
