Is no one going to the EMU game??

Submitted by James Burrill Angell on
I know its looking ahead a week but is everyone taking off the EMU game. I have friends who can't give their EMU seats away. I had to drop these through the freaking floor and I still have no takers! They're f-ing cheap for good seats! http://www.cmarket.com/auction/item/Item.action?id=92353844 I guess when you have four home games in a row people take off the weakest opponent? Not sure. If you ever wanted to take your extended family or even have a family reunion during a Michigan game where the entire family gets seats together, I think next Saturday may be your day. How many do you need? I've got 2 EMU left. Section 1, Row 82. @ $30, they're yours. If interested, hit me up at pdb at umich dot edu. EDIT: there are advantages to being a 30-something UM grad (I'm 37), for one: my umich.edu email address is my initials, because I got it in 1990 when campus email was campus-only and about 100 people used email. By the time I finished undergrad, we'd moved all the way forward to using Pine email for unix on our 2400 baud modems. [/technology nostalgia]

I'll be out of town that weekend too. I'm heading out to Wisco and will be watching Wisconsin vs Wofford with a bunch of friends.

I want to go, but after spending so much money on the game this weekend, I don't know if I can afford it, even if it is pretty cheap. Hopefully I can find a way to buy these tix..

I'm coming in from Chicago with a friend and with my high school daughter (to check out both UM & EMU.) I was just planning to check with scalpers, but if you (or someone else here at mgoblog) has decent tickets cheap, I'd be very interested. I'd basically like to be somewhere between the 10 or 20 and 10 or 20, high enough to see over the players, but not in the highest tier. Please contact me at [email protected] if you can help.

I'll be there, its my 8yr old son's first game in the Big House. He is pretty excited. I'm hoping everyone doesnt show up so that it isnt too tight in the stands. I dont think he would enjoy the bumping around much.

If he is anything like my boy the crowd won't bother him too much but what he will hate is the walk back to the car after the game. I have taken my boy to 3 games thus far and that seems to be his only real complaint. He is now 8 so I think he will be OK with it this year but I am taking my 4 year old daughter this year for her first so I think she will take his place at the whiners seat.
