no news good news?

i don't live in the state of michigan so news about the team is sometimes annoying to find. but i have been looking nationally for articles and stories, usually coming up empty. i imagine the next story that will come up are the results from the investigation being conducted, whenever that may be. so after a bad couple of seasons, workout mishaps, people calling for richrod's head, and the AD retiring, is it better to stay out of the media's focus for now or have the attention always be on the program? personally, i think it is better to have the spotlight pointed in another direction. what better way to prove people wrong then to come out of nowhere and be successful during this coming season. any thoughts?

Other than that, with Bowl Season in full swing, nothing short of firing coaches or major violations will get the media's attention. Enjoy the games.

Doesn't the internet give you access to the same news that we here in Michigan get? If not maybe you need to switch your ISP or move off of the moon. EDIT: I am negging myself for this post. It was rather douchey. I humbly ask the boards forgiveness.

It's a sound logic, but you're not always in control of what ends up being reported. If I only had freep as my sports news reference I would imagine a different picture of A2..

Well, seeing as how your quest for info has landed you square on this here blog, I recommend you pull up a log and set a spell. After all, you've found the premier site for any and all things Michigan sports-related, plus a little bit more.

There probably won't be any news until August the week before kickoff when the Freep will release an article accusing Rodriguez of planning to nuke Columbus.

Fine, I'll be the asshole. Where can you find better news and links than on this site itself? A) You can get papers from out of state if you really want B) You can all the Freep and DetNews content online (right?) C) http://www.lmgtfy.com/?q=michigan+football+news The fact that people STILL don't know how to use the internet for even the most basic features astounds me.
