No interviews Today

Submitted by trickydick81 on

Michigan did not do interviews today according to this: http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2011/01/michigan_not_commenting_on_po….

Making me think that I worried a lot and pressed f5 a lot for a whole lot of nothing...

And also that Les is the guy because he has the 24 hour notice clause in his contract (http://i.usatoday.net/sports/graphics/2009/coaches-contracts/pdf/miles_…) (page 9 clause 12c). Why else wouldn't they do interviews today?

Could obviously be wrong, but if Miles is the target, wouldn't this be done by now?  Wouldn't you have a deal in place long before their meaningless bowl game, especially if Miles is supposedly anxious to get back to Ann Arbor?

Also, everything I've read says "Miles will take the job if offered."  Nobdy seems to have a clue what Brandon is up to, so if Miles ain't taken the job, my hunch is he still hasn't been offered.

If no announcement could be made for a week, Brandon woud have said something about it I'm sure.  Also, the law seems pretty easy to get around with its "unless you really feel like you have to do it fast" exceptions.

You could definitely be right on the deal being done though.  This is just my gut reaction to the likelihood that we're going after him (especially in light of what happened last time around), not a hope that he does/doesn't come or any actual knowledge/insight.

If we dont get Miles and end up with Hoke ( who would hitchhike with a trucker to get to Ann Arbor). I'm gonna be preaty pissed wasting all this money on the outside firm when this couldve been done the day after he RichRod was fired.

Oh don't worry, you have nothing to fear.  DB is a devout obsever of the Sunday Sabbath.  Hopefully God blesses his efforts the week ahead...we are going to need it!!!

....Les Miles was going to be the HC, Jon Gruden was going to be the DC, Steve Spurrier was going to take over as OC and Sly Stallone was going to be our Strength-n-conditioning nut with alil bit of assistance from Roger Clemens and/or Brian McNamee..........story is getting legs as we speak.
