No big surprise: Drew Dull picks Penn State.

Submitted by Firstbase on

Just caught Drew (Dull) Sharp pick Penn State over M on sports talk radio. He also thinks Sparty goes down to Iowa.

Gotta love his overwhelming sense of self regard, too.

Any bi-partisian, objective, level minded person can look at the match up and see that UM should win this game. He is just trying to rile up the UM fans, he needs any small amount of attention he can get.

Yes.  He's picking an upset.

Why does every little media comment/story/prediction have to be "OMG the MSM hatez RR and M!!!  BIAS!!! BIAS!!!"?

Regardless of what you think of Drew Sharp, there's no reason to get riled up when he picks M to lose a road game at night in Happy Valley.

Since when does it mean that if you are in some way affiliated with sports (journalist, talk show host, butt scratcher vendor, etc.) then you are competent enough to make "predictions" about who wins? Most of these nut-tards can't form an original thought or opinion, so how can I take them seriously when it comes picking a winner (heh, heh)?

Predictions are useless because they have no bearing on the game. If my wife predicts that Penn State will win tomorrow, what does it matter, and why would I care?

Getting upset about someone's prediction is just as useless.

I predict a Michigan.

I figure that I am about as qualified to make the predictions is Drew Dull is.  Hell, I may be more qualified since I, you know, actually watch the games.

Steele picked PSU this AM on the Bill King show on Rivals Radio. I was surprised, he's usually pretty solid with his picks.

All of his analysis led me to believe he was going to pick UM, but then he added "night game", "home", "M horrible defense", "PSU in a close one".

I've become comfortable with not seeing or mentioning any Freep nonsense here.  (I've changed.)  I'd rather see that cretin not get any attention that would benefit him or his employer.

Let alone listen to him on the radio.  Just remember when he made the comment that Michigan should send the band sufficiently obliterated his credibility!

I shudder when seeing things like "Drew Dull" or "Dumbtonio" or whatever else you want to write.  They are all stupid.  Please do not use them.

That being said, Sharp is just trying to piss off all of his readers.  I really don't think the "Saint Dantonio" outlook is there for Sharp, I think he just has an agenda against everyone these days because he thinks being negative about his readers teams means he's objective.  In reality it just makes him a turd and an idiot, so there's that.

While this game is most likely going to be an M win, can any of the mgobloggers really say they aren't the least bit worried?  Illinois and Purdue should have been in the bag last year IMO, and I think the best case scenario is for Rod to have a long career here.  If we can just limit our turnovers for the rest of the year we can beat anyone left on the schedule.  We can also lose to anyone on the schedule if our offense doesn't perform at a high level.  I remain worried until we get win #6.

Drew deserves to be called Drew Dull.  That's why almost nobody bothers to read him or listen to him anymore.  He used to be really funny until he decided he suddenly had odorless feces.  Now, he is just....dull.

As for nicknames in general, they are part of life.  And the whole nickname thing certainly worked out for the Boomer.
