Per a sport site alert I just recieved on my phone. Fitz officially named the No 1. tailback. I know, shocker!

They just try to get us to click on it...then mission accomplished.
My thing is...WHO CARES!?
If I'm a fan of ANY other team in America, why is that news? Hell, I'm a fan of Michigan and it's not even news.
And he had a good game, but it's not like he went off for 350 and 5 TD's...I'm sure 90% of the nation is like "who? ...don't you mean Denard?"
To non-Michigan fans (aka blasphemists) it's not news...to Michigan fans, it's something we already know.
Thus the story is pointless to every reader, no matter his/her rooting interest.
“True loyalty is that quality of service that grows under adversity and expands in defeat. Any street urchin can shout applause in victory, but it takes character to stand fast in defeat. One is noise — the other, loyalty.”
That looks like Boubocar Cissoko's pursuit angle
"I was kind of disappointed in myself to run a 10.44 (100m), but I will accept that. Running the No. 2 time in the nation is pretty good. I was trying to run a 10.3, but there was strong wind." -- Denard Robinson
Can't be Cissoko because there was none of that arm-waving-in-negation crap that he used to do every time he was with 10 yards of an incomplete pass regardless of whether he had actually done anything.
We ARE Michigan....COME GET SOME!!!
Why wasn't this decision made before the MSU game? It was obvious to me at that time Fitz gave us the best chance to win.
Manufactured media event is manufactured.

...it's weird how they make stories and then THEY blow them out of proportion. Not the fans, but other media outlets themselves.
The AP ran a story about Fitz not yet being the starter based off of ONE LINE that Hoke said in the presser after the game. Then ESPN.com all of a sudden has the "story" as one of it's major headlines (and it's still there): Michigan's Hoke won't say Toussaint has RB job.
I'm sorry, but that's what I HATE about the media. Fabrication of news.
