The print on the gloves is sweet.
They just showed Pitt, and when you put your hands together (like Ingram at the start of Sportscenter) it spells out PITT (where Ingram has the bama A)
Also, TCU's "Lizard Print" looks stupid, but their gloves say TCU like the Pitt ones
Va Tech had a military person introduce theirs, and it was weird. All black, with a little orange
Huggy bear is out there for WVU, Whos uni has almost no color to it. It's white, black and grey. With Blue and yellow WV logos.
These are just dumb

It's stunts like this that make me hate Nike. Impossible is Nothing.
September 1st, 2010 at 10:45 AM ^
Yeah I found it to late to see Florida, Alabama, and Miami. I actually like WVUs unis and the meaning behind it.
September 1st, 2010 at 10:47 AM ^
I would be very unhappy if Nike had made us do that.

Ok I take back what I said in the other thread about the OSU unis not looking that bad, they are really bad. The WVU and TCU were pretty cool IMO.

Is it me or does Alabama have pretty much the exact same uniform as theire regular ones?
September 1st, 2010 at 10:48 AM ^
But in general, ick. it's the Oregon-ization of all of college football.

DAMMMN I MISS NIKE

Why? Nike is terrible.

that one just flew right over your head, didn't it?
sarcasm, buddy ;)

I think some people actually prefer Nike.

i have no sound. can anyone tell me the explanation for ohio state looking like a division 3 program with their new uniforms?
September 1st, 2010 at 10:53 AM ^
because they are honoring theyre 1942 team that wore red helmets.
September 1st, 2010 at 10:55 AM ^
i assumed it was some sort of throwback. with the gray pants they look gross though.
September 1st, 2010 at 11:03 AM ^
And maybe I'm just opposed to change, but I'm not impressed by the Florida jerseys either. It's like they were designing the blue Power Ranger's uniform until they got above the waist and remembered that they were designing a football jersey.
Might as well post the OSU jersey too...almost looks like Bama from the front.
Oooooo I like the Boise State helmet

..are a combination of the university's original colors (black and gray) and the current colors (burnt orange and Chicago maroon) that were adopted in 1896. The association with the Corps of Cadets is because until 1923, Virginia Tech required all able bodied males to serve in the Corps for four years and until 1964 for two years. While it's now completely voluntary, the Corps is still an integral part of campus life. All three ROTC units (Army, Air Force, Navy (which includes Marines)) are part of the Corps and wear the Corps' uniforms, not service uniforms. The Corps also includes many non-ROTC members who join simply to participate in the experience, not to earn a commission.

The OSU ones look like a used tampon. Fitting.

Apparently Columbus abbreviates to COB. They sure are smart.

I see the season has brought out the clever cavalry in these parts.
September 1st, 2010 at 11:09 AM ^
When we look back years from now, this whole Nike Pro Combat thing is going to be a 1970's -style "WTF was everyone thinking who liked these?"
September 1st, 2010 at 11:14 AM ^
People dont realize that recruits are drawn to things like this. It's new and exciting and alot of recruits like to see that from a program
September 1st, 2010 at 11:20 AM ^
But they like brand new and expansive indoor training facilities and newly renovated stadiums more.... so we got that going for us.
September 1st, 2010 at 11:19 AM ^
those florida unis are terrible. aqua? really???
also, don't get the black VT unis, although the matte black helmets look kinda cool. matte black is starting to get played out, though, particularly if you're into the car scene.
September 1st, 2010 at 11:23 AM ^
these are the best one-time-only jerseys of all time.
September 1st, 2010 at 11:23 AM ^
I like the 2010 OSU versions better than the 2009. It is sort of hard to tell how they will look on non-5'5'' white guys on a green field but the red helmets don't bother me yet.
September 1st, 2010 at 12:12 PM ^
The Alabame gloves and cleats look sick. The team I play for is called the Aces with the bama 'A' so I'm considering getting some of those gloves for the new season

Not gonna lie that Boise helmet is pretty sweet. Other then that Nike is turning themselves into a fashion show. Awful
