Dear all NBA Scouts,
Please ignore this news. Stauskas is just a shooter.
Thank you,

Caris deserves some love too

Yes, he does. He had 14 points to Stauskas' 4 in the first half. Without that first half performance, the score is probably flipped.

ONE MORE YEAR, ONE MORE YEAR.

Unless we have a deep tourney run with him carrying us, I just don't see him leaving. With him getting shut down so often, I just think it hurts his stock.
Of course, that mid range in the draft might be the best place for him considering that those teams will likely have other players to draw attention off of him whereas the lottery teams are less likely to have that.

Sorry, but I'll take Nik playing all world and having a great tourney, even if he leaves. Ditto for everyone else in any of our athletic programs. The future is now.
When you have the type of tournament we had last year, you get noticed. Another good run, and it will make Beilein and Michigan a better choice for recruits than it already is.
It is very obvious for those of us invested in Michigan basketball just how lucky we are to have Beilein as our coach. He is a powerful tactician, obviously tremendous at spotting talent and developing it and making kids NBA-ready. Advancing deep into the tournament two years in a row would be huge.

I'd definitely take it too. I was just pointing out that I don't think it's likely to happen.

He was awesome this week. Hopefully he keeps that attitude that he won't be stopped into the remainder of the games this year. Also, how about LeVert? I hope he gets one of these sooner or later. He has been shredding.

The amazing thing about this is that not only is it his third time this season winning this honor, but those three times have come in the last month and a half or so. Nik Stauskas has had an overall pretty damn good stretch in conference play here. So, I agree with the sentiment expressed above - this is becoming a little routine, but it is an awesome routine.

DraftExpress has him 20th in his Top100 prospect rankings. I think if that's the projection Nik gets when he feels out the draft, he's gone.

An embarrassment of riches for Canada this weekend. Congrats Nik!

I expected Caris to get the POW this week. Nik is good, but Caris stepped up when everyone else was coasting. It is time he gets some attention and love.

I'm more than okay with Nik getting shine this year. He deserves it. Even if everyone comes back, I suspect this will be Caris' team next year.

Good job.
