NIght Jerseys selling like hotcakes in Ohio

So I was at the Dayton Mall this morning (its about 55 miles SW of Columbus) and I saw they had the night game jersey at Cardboard Heros. I went in and checked out a few things, actually purchased the Michigan Grill cover for my birthday grill my wife got me this year. While checking out the store manager was on the phone with another location asking them if they had any of the night game jerseys left, he then said.. only youth, dang, all right thanks, then hung up...I then said to him you been selling alot of those night game michigan jerseys, He said that they were already out of most sizes and they were almost doubling the Ohio jersey sales....just that one design. I loved it. Just thought I would share.

Hoke

I think Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.

It tells us little that

It tells us little that they're selling more than expected.  If they expected to sell six of these across Ohio and now they might sell 15, that doesn't exactly mean that they're selling like hotcakes.

Speaking of that, if hotcakes sell so well, what I am doing not selling hotcakes?

Yes, as soon as he wins the game....three out of the next four years. It's going to take a few wins in my opinion. Good start on the new attitude and commitment to the tradition. Now we need to win.

After reading this thread

I think it's hard to argue with the concept that Hoke has changed the tide of the rivalry. A million people in a million years can't be wrong about night game jerseys.

I wish

We had some sort of indication as to whether Hoke has changed the tide in the rivalry.  Perhaps we could use the sale of night jerseys in Ohio as an indicator.  Any thoughts?

Hell people

I found it funny that they transalated "Hell, people in Ohio..." to "The people of hell in Ohio"  or "Hell people." Looks like google translate, though maybe a bit melodramatic, also shares our dislike for Ohio.

The tide

I think the tide on the rivalry has been changed by Hoke.  Starting to believe him are people in Ohio (hell).  I never would have thought that in a million years.  A good start is selling Michigan jerseys.

While I don't necessarily think Hoke has changed the tide...

...on the rivalry (blasphemous I'm sure), the original story doesn't suprise me all that much.

A couple years ago I was in Dayton for a conference and after hours at one of the places we went, I got cover charge waived because I was wearing a Michigan shirt.  The bouncer's explanation was "We hate that school as much as you do."

Apparently Dayton is a hotbed of anti-OSU sentiment.

Laundry?

What's all this I hear about Hoke ordering the UM laundry staff to change to Tide to wash all football uniforms the week of the Ohio rivalry game?

Seems a non-factor to me, but if it gives M a slight edge, I suppose I'm in favor of it (though, personally, I wash with Era).

Page 4!!!!

EJG it has reached page four so it must be true that Hoke has changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell people in Ohio are starting to believe him. Never in a million years we would have thought that. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start.

It's only on page 4 if you've set the board to view 50 posts per page.  For me it's still on page 1.

That Carboard Heros store

sucks haha its right by my house. They literally carry only 5 of each item that's not Ohio State, but somehow always have hundreds of discontinued jerseys on sale on the discount rack.

I can still replies??

Wow...

Well, with us standing at 8-2 now, I think Hoke has definitely changed the tide on the rivalry. Hell, people in Ohio, with their miserable 6-4 record, are really starting to believe him. Never in a million years I would have thought that, and yet it still happened. Selling Michigan jerseys is a good start so let's beat the crap out of them this year.
