Iowa needed to let State score, instead they totally fucking gave the game away by allowing their totally gassed defense to stay out there while burning time outs

It would have been nice to see a replay on the play that was ruled a fumble by the Iowa QB at the end. Hard to believe he wasn't in the act of throwing. Amazing that a big play like that and they don't show the replay even after MSU calls time out.

And in the MSU TD if that last Iowa defender doesn't go low he could have just taken the ball out of the RBs hand and taken it to the house.

This MSU team has to be one of the luckiest in the history of college football.

This team loses to 5-7 Nebraska and is going to sneak into the playoffs! How the hell do you give up a 9 minute drive? I have never seen a team catch more breaks.

I decided that I just am not going to watch our rivals' games anymore. All three of them got incredibly lucky multiple times this year and it just drove me crazy. I get in a shitty mood from it and it just puts me in a bad mood. It's annoying knowing it happens, but it's much better not having to watch it. It seems like this has been going on for a decade now. Just shitty.

I am pretty indifferent about MSU winning the B1G and getting in to the playoff. MSU has yet to play an explosive offense with top tier talent and a legitimate passing game like Clemson or Oklahoma. Alabama would beat them at their own game because of superior talent.

For those in despair just remember this won't go on forever. At some point the luck will run out. It isn't like Ohio State where they can and will pull in Top 5 classes year after year and be a destination for elite coaches. Next season they come back to reality.

Luck has nothing to do with it.  Dantonio is a hell of a coach.  They have been kicking our ass.   As long as he is there and doesn't go senile like Paterno, MSU will be a factor.

If the next coach they hire is the second coming of Bobby Williams or John L Smith, then the program will retract.

It is all about the coach.

season than any other team in history but they deserve credit for finding a way. That team is going nowhere as long as Dantonio is still the coach. They won't be a playoff team every year with the division they play in but they will be legit. To suggest that they need to take a back seat to any of the other 3 playoff teams is foolish. They beat Ohio St in Columbus with back ups playing QB. You really think Clemson, Oklahoma, or Alabama are that much better than Ohio St? They may have played more consistently over the course of the season but I would pick OSU to beat any of the 3. Whether Sparty has success in the playoff remains to be seen. I just don't think there is any reason to believe that they don't belong. I wouldn't be at all surprised if they have success. With that said, fuck Sparty and Ohio St.
