I think we're all seeing that Wiscy's offensive output so far this season may have something to do with the competition.  I know OSU is doing well defensively, but this offense relies so heavily on running downhill, and when that isn't the case I don't know if they have a second gear.

But I think the difference is that Miller can create with his arm or his legs, while Stave is really just an average thrower with very limited mobility.  Every team needs to have some form of a running game as well as a passing one, but Wiscy has always struck me as a squad that is immensely better with a lead and just running at you 40-50 times a game.  You take that away and ask them to throw the ball, I'm not sure they can do much with it.  Compare that to OSU, who really can stretch the field at times even with a passer with some accuracy issues.

SHould easily be winning this game. Not big, but winning. The self inflicted wounds are awful.

For everyone saying we will be able to take OSU through the air like Stave is, they have a legit running game...we do not. They have to load the box to stop the Wisky backs, they will not have to do that against us unless something changes in a hurry.

I'd counter that UM has much better receivers than Wiscy, which is basically Abbrederis and nobody else.  I'm not saying that isn't a bit of a Gallon situation, but I trust Dileo, Funchess, and Chesson a bit more than Wiscy's other receivers.

Why does everyone have to take everything so literally? Sure 'Bama still plays defense, except when they played A&M right? Where was their D that game? I agree with the statement, offense has passed the defenses by and they're not looking back

The game will be at home, and apparently I'm the only one who hasn't been impressed by Wiscy's defense this game.  OSU is a very tough squad, but people (not OP) acting like Meyer is going to own the Big 10 for a decade because they are putting points up against Wisconsin are being a bit reactionary.
