Rooting for Wisky tonight sure is a lot easier without Bielema coaching them.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:04 PM ^
How that A&M receiver came down with that ball is beyond me
September 28th, 2013 at 8:06 PM ^
He has been tearing it up this season. No one has been able to cover him.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:11 PM ^
He's not very fast either. Just big-bodied and boxes out well. Avant-style hands complete the package.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:09 PM ^
Beat those smug Buckeyes.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:37 PM ^
Clever....
September 28th, 2013 at 8:11 PM ^
Eminem Saturday Night Football for all your rowdy friends...
September 28th, 2013 at 8:14 PM ^
Why are they wearing those stupid ass helmets again?
September 28th, 2013 at 8:22 PM ^
Because nothing says rivalry like throwing out your historic and traditional uniform for Nike uniformz that are borderline unrecognizable. OSU is wearing them for Wisconsin and Michigan this year.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:18 PM ^
Damn I hate them but their talent is just crazy right now...
September 28th, 2013 at 8:18 PM ^
Damn. Couldn't have started any better for OSU.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:18 PM ^
Ohio would straight up muder us if we played right now. Like 42-7
September 28th, 2013 at 8:20 PM ^
comes on a 40-plus yd. Gardner draw. Cause otherwise, it's a bit optimistic.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:20 PM ^
It could be a longgggggggg game this year if UM doesnt start showing some serious progress.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:28 PM ^
I literally thought that same thing when BM turn his shoulders and lifts a 35 yard TD rolling left of all things. Ohio is legit.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:24 PM ^
Ohio as they would UCONN and Akron.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:30 PM ^
Doesn't matter. We struggle with shit teams two weeks in a row. No way in hell osu has that problem because they're more talented by far.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:45 PM ^
struggled. They nearly lost to Navy and Ohio among other teams. This from a program that dominated Michigan and the Big Ten.
If you are giving up already then you should cheer on someone else. I'm not willing to do so.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:19 PM ^
Well that was an ugly start for Wisconsin. 7-0 Ohio three minutes into the game.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:20 PM ^
Arizona State is pretty blah and they scored 32 on Wisconsin's defense. I wouldn't be surprised to see OSU get 60+ tonight.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:20 PM ^
What the hell prevents us from getting a 100,000 strong maize out? The Horseshoe is a sea of red right now.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:22 PM ^
Home replica jerseys that people drop big money on..
September 28th, 2013 at 8:22 PM ^
Idiots that insist on wearing jerseys
September 28th, 2013 at 8:23 PM ^
So probably the old crotchety alums
September 28th, 2013 at 8:28 PM ^
Most OSU games look like that. When your colors are scarlet and grey, I'm going to guess that the overwhelming favorite color people are going to wear is scarlet.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:26 PM ^
A lot of us like to wear blue. Also, our alumni are not deranged like Ohio State's. I live in Ohio. I know what I am talking about.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:32 PM ^
Why do you have to wear blue during a scheduled maize out? Also what does being deranged have to do with what color they wear? You sound like an elitist.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:29 PM ^
One problem is that our home uniforms aren't maize. Some fans really want to wear their replica jerseys (and I guess I can't blame them - when else are they going to?) and that breaks up the maize out. Still, we had a pretty good one for ND.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:52 PM ^
As stated before, this is a pretty typical display from the OSU fan base, primarily due to the homogeneity of thought and culture throughout the state itself.
But, did you consider that Whisky fans are likely to be wearing red tonight, as well?
September 28th, 2013 at 8:21 PM ^
There's definitely a talent gap right now.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:24 PM ^
Every so slightly...
September 28th, 2013 at 8:26 PM ^
There is definitely a gap but it's not as big as it was 2-3 years ago.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:30 PM ^
When we beat them?
September 28th, 2013 at 8:35 PM ^
Their younger players were better than ours though as our 2010 and 2011 classes do not have the same amount of talent. It has showed this year and last year.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:47 PM ^
Jim Tressel wasn't recruiting a bunch of nobodies. Their 6-7 season under Fickell was misleading because Pryor left the team in the summer and their 3 best players (Herron, Adams, and Posey) were suspended for a significant portion of the season. And they started Joe Bauserman for about half the season before finally inserting true freshman Braxton Miller.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:21 PM ^
Let the verbal fellating of Braxton Miller by Musberger commence...
September 28th, 2013 at 8:23 PM ^
I can't tell who he wants to fondle more. Miller or McCarrens gf.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:23 PM ^
Wiscy is going to be in trouble....they don't have a QB to really make OSU pay.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:26 PM ^
Whiskey about to be on the rocks!
Shit, I thought this was a drinking thread yet so apropos to Wisconsin's fate tonight.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:27 PM ^
The thing I notice about OSU is their defensive backs are glued to Wisconsin receivers. Michigan can't do that.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:32 PM ^
I agree with that assessment for the most part. Countess is pretty good but besides that we currently don't have a DB on OSU's level. I shouldn't say that though because we are so damn young that their might be a guy who will ascend to that level in the future. Next year though is a different story with Peppers.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:36 PM ^
Probably. But we don't try that much either. When we do go to press coverage (in the red zone, mostly), we've been okay.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:30 PM ^
The typically potent Wisconsin offense has gotten off to a blazing -2 yards of offense in these first couple series tonight. Net zero yards passing, and the rest has been contributed by their ground game.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:30 PM ^
I'm pretty sure I'll be changing channels pretty soon. Watching OSU kick ass just doesn't sound very fun.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:32 PM ^
Is there a global conspiracy to make jersey names unreadable? Between our Adidas maize on whites, OSU's Nike black on red, and the AF "service" unis, this is getting ridiculous
September 28th, 2013 at 8:32 PM ^
Nice defensive stand from the Badgers.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:33 PM ^
Either Ohio is that damn good or Wiscy is pretty bad. We gotta get way better and I mean in a hurry. Ohio would obliterate us right now.
September 28th, 2013 at 8:36 PM ^
Jump to conclusions much?
