on defense is tough.  I think next week is going to be another classic UMv. ND game.  I'm a little worried about ND running and working in PA agains this Michigan defense.

That's certainly possible that ND is tough up front, but this game can't be used as evidence of that conclusion. Michigan State sucks up front. I just don't get why when an entire shitty offensive line returns the press concludes they'll suddenly be good. Denard has never had issues running against ND (or anyone with Wisconsin level talent in the defensive secondary) and I don't think he'll have a problem racking up yards next week. I think we need more activity out of our receiving corps. If we get that ND won't be much of a problem.

The Big Ten is a joke right now. UMass got more first downs against us than the previous two games combined. We are scary bad this year. The poor blocking would not cut it against any top 25 team. Fortunately we don't play a true top 25 team the rest of the way. Big Ten and ND are way over ranked. Navy looked pathetic against a mediocre team.

That ND front 7 can afford to be tough when they're up against the E.L. Le'veon Bells. They were sold out for the run all night, and if it wasn't a handoff, they had Maxwell shaken enough to just throw it away. Denard has enough options and enough weapons with Gardner, Funchess, Toussaint & especially his legs, that they won't feel so froggy. If they do, he can make them pay.
