Herbstreit saying "why would you go for it with :08 seconds left from the 30 yard line?" gave me flashbacks to the Notre Dame game. It made it even funnier when their kicker missed the field goal. Maybe that's why you go for it?

yea..the BCS is so screwed up right now...Bama is basicly in with a win over Auburn and it seems like the SEC champion will also get in. So, it's up to Georgia now..

I think putting the two best teams in is secondary to choosing a champion fairly. Alabama had a shot at LSU (at home). Why should they get another shot at LSU for keeps when Oklahoma State/Oklahoma won't get even one?

OU seems to have solved its red zone blues by replacing Landry Jones with a running qb down by the goal line.  It's worked several times tonight, and now OU is within a td.

If OU doesn't come back, as of this evening the top of the BCS will be:

  1. LSU
  2. Alabama
  3. Arkansas

If they all win next week and LSU then loses to Georgia, it'll be Alabama vs. Arkansas in the championship game? Two teams that didn't even win their own division of their conference?

Besides LSU/Bama.....you could make an argument that 3-25 are all even teams. If I'm not mistaken wasn't nationwide this senior class considered one of the weakest in a long time? I swear i remember 2008 being a weak recruiting class talent wise.

Unless I'm mistaken, LSU plays Arkansas next week, knocking out Arkansas. If OU pulls this out OSU will have two remaining games left against top 10 teams and I think OSU could jump back to #2.
