Night Games Open Thread

Submitted by jcgold on

After a very underwhelming day of college football, we have finally reached night:  when nearly all matchups worth watching are occuring.

Penn St. at Northwestern - BTN at 7 (NW wearing crazy ugly unis)

Tennessee at Bama - ESPN2 at 7:15

USC at ND - NDBC at 7:30

Wisconsin at Sparty - ESPN at 8

Washington at Stanford - ESPN3/ABC at 8

Texas Tech at Oklahoma - ABC/ESPN3 at 8

The remaining listings can be found here:  enjoy the night games.

If MSU were smart (that is a big "if") they would not have any recruit visits this weekend.

And MSU's OL returns to being a sieve.  The ineptitude of our front seven last week was what really got me.  MSU should not have been able to grind out all that rush yardage on us.

it was strictly LB play that really killed us...we had at least 5 to 6 runs dead to rights if our LB would actually approach the LOS instead of waiting on the blocks to get their. if our LB play can improve to end the season then our d will be light years better than anyone will believe.

I'm enjoying this a bit too much. If only Bielema wasn't such a douche.

And I must say, I envy the offense of Wisconsin. I can't wait till all of our linemen get here.

Way to go Bret Musberger for calling out Gholston's ripping of Denard's face mask. "I know you are watching, Tom".

Listening to the MSU broadcast on XM while driving home, the color commentators for Sparty was complaining about bad officiating for 2 weeks in a row in the Big 10.  Of course, I agree on last week at least, but I doubt we're talking about the same thing.  So, any idea what he's bitching about?  Just curious.

Guys that want to DESTROY someone.

Not guys with wide eyes who look like, "oh noes, what do I do!"

We will be there, but we are far from there yet.

as good as their O is...the Wiscy D is not nearly as good as it was a year ago. JJ Watt really masked a lot of problems with their D last year.
