Night Game Thread

Well another year without our Wolverines making a sighting in the Big 10 championship game.  Sucks but Harbaugh will fix it within 2 years.   Go Badgers go.

We also have a very interesting Baylor v KSU game and a less interesting GA Tech v FSU game.  Normally it would be correct to root against FSU but in this case to keep out the Buckeyes we don't want the GA Tech upset.  An FSU loss brings up a debate between Baylor/OSU if they both win tonight for the 4th spot; and OSU would be a conference champion so they'd surely get the nod.

If KSU & Wiscy both win + FSU loses (the most "fun" scenario) - we have quite a debate for spot #4.  It would be 2 loss Georgia Tech vs 2 loss Wiscy vs 2 loss KSU, with the 1st two being conference champions.   Whatever the case they'd be sacrificial lambs for Bama.

People keep talking about FSU. The committee may feel pressured into giving OSU the spot TCU now claims. If OSU continues to shine, some have said that's possible.

The losses of the two teams aren't even close.  Plus OSU struggled with Minny and TCU hammered them.  You can't have OSU jump them after how good TCU has played and looked on a consistent basis.

I'll say this about Meyer, at least he doesn't coach like a pussy when his starter isn't in the game.   Too many coaches are way too conservative when the backup has to play.

Seriously, why the hell do they put all these games on at the same time.  There wasn't shit worth watching on earlier today (well there was some bball and some unimportant fball).  At least the PAC got it right - schedule it on Friday so everyone is watching your game.  It annoyed the hell out of me all season long (let's put all three top 10 match ups in the 3:30 slot - Brilliant!). *rage off*

You know, it's been nearly 3 seasons now and I'm still kind of in shock that thanks to insanely perfect timing, Urban Meyer just landed in OSU's lap.  And then after their offensive line had reached Michigan level of suck in the spring compared to now....and the fact that that OSU is doing this tonight with their third string QB...and could possibly STILL play for a national title...I can't pick my mouth off the floor.

I don't know what the hell Michigan did in 2007 to piss off the college football GODS, but they've been giving us two middle fingers ever since.  When is this finally going to end?

At this point, I half expect Jim Harbaugh to call a press conference in the coming days, announce that not only is he NOT coming to Michigan but he's going to Columbus to be a co-head coach with Urban Meyer.
