Night Game Thread
Well another year without our Wolverines making a sighting in the Big 10 championship game. Sucks but Harbaugh will fix it within 2 years. Go Badgers go.
We also have a very interesting Baylor v KSU game and a less interesting GA Tech v FSU game. Normally it would be correct to root against FSU but in this case to keep out the Buckeyes we don't want the GA Tech upset. An FSU loss brings up a debate between Baylor/OSU if they both win tonight for the 4th spot; and OSU would be a conference champion so they'd surely get the nod.
If KSU & Wiscy both win + FSU loses (the most "fun" scenario) - we have quite a debate for spot #4. It would be 2 loss Georgia Tech vs 2 loss Wiscy vs 2 loss KSU, with the 1st two being conference champions. Whatever the case they'd be sacrificial lambs for Bama.

Well, here's where Andersen makes his money...or not.

I feel like even we could compete with this Badger team.

and depending on who UM hires that gap can be closed next year. The talent and facilities are there. Now we just need the coaching.

It really is and that frustrates me amazingly. I'm so fucking sick of watching bad Michigan football and losing to rivals, especially this dog shit program called Ohio State.

CC: Paul Johnson

maybe with denard, smith and toussaint in 2011 but no way with this personal lol

fuck no

GA Tech scores again - nearly untouched 4 yard run into end zone.

Watching these games today makes me think Oregon is the clear #1 team in the country.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:10 PM ^
When is this shit with their sports teams winning everything and us losing everything gonna end? We've been going on 15 years.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:15 PM ^
Surely not Ohio. They haven't won a national title in basketball since JFK was president and they have won as many football national titles as Michigan(1) in the last 40 years.

Is it too late to nominate Paul Johnson for the "This is so daft that it just might work" offensive gameplan award? I think tht if this lead holds going into halftime that he deserves to be in the discussion if nothing else.

If anyone can see what their 3rd string QB is doing against a good team like Wisconsin and see the vast coaching gap there has been between them and us, they are crazy.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:13 PM ^
5 yards a carry and no TD's for Wisconsin?

Are we watching the same game? Their last two drives have been killed by pass plays - an INT on 1st down in the first, and a monster sack on 2nd down on the second.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:20 PM ^
in that game...something like 39 points. It seems to me it wasn't the two broken arm Henne offense that lost the game, but the defense.
Turns out Michigan ran for 130 and passed for 267

If you're UW, you've just got to run it on every 1st and 2nd down. Maybe 3rd down, too. Stave is a disaster.

Gordon has 11 carries for 51 yards. That's fine.

OK, then run left. But give him the ball - he's the Heisman candidate, not Stave.

This could get really ugly. Almost like what Wisconsin did to Nebraska in 2012.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:15 PM ^
My best case assuming Wisky continues to shit the bed is that FSU loses and Baylor jumps OSU. That would be fun to see.

bounce....bounce... bounce....
ok I paid attention to that commercial.

This day has the chance to be one of the worst Saturdays since last Saturday. We lose to NJIT and Georgia Tech beats FSU and Ohio crushes Wisconsin to get in the playoff.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:18 PM ^
Anyways, FSU is not losing. They are the Rasputin of college football.

TD FSU. Just win, FSU. Please.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:18 PM ^
OMFG FSU WR wide open AGAIN! 21-21. CB trips lol.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:18 PM ^
I can't see GT keeping this up in the 2nd half. I bet FSU wins by at least 10.
December 6th, 2014 at 9:18 PM ^
44 yard TD pass. Wide Open
December 6th, 2014 at 9:18 PM ^
Luckily Jones didn't have to "play school" this past week so he had plenty of time to prepare for this game.

I live in Ohio and hear OSU fans complain about a lot of things. They have no fucking clue how good they have it. I heard one guy in mid-season say he gets bored watching OSU games because many of them were blowouts. Oh gee fucking wizz. What a terrible thing that must be to watch, fucking douchebag asshole.

in basketball, their "punishment" was that they got the #1 recruiting class in the country
when we got busted, death for a fucking decade
why?
Because they have more will and single-mindedness than we do.
There are Buckeyes infecting every level of administration in the NCAA.
They're like Goldman fucking Sachs hiring SEC regulators. And we just say, yes, please punish us to death.
