Nick Sheridan Moving Up Coaching Ladder

Submitted by JC3 on

Former Michigan QB Nick Sheridan has been QB Coach/Passing Game Coordinator at Western Kentucky since 2011, and with Willie Taggert taking over at USF he's brought Sheridan with him.

From Footballscoop:

South Florida: Willie Taggart announced via press release this afternoon that Walt Wells and Nick Sheridan will join from Western Kentucky. Wells will serve as offensive coordinator / offensive line coach and Sheridan will serve as quarterbacks / passing game coordinator.

Congrats to Nick.

Nick Sheridan was the starting quarterback for Michigan and that's something nobody here, not even Lord Sir Brian of Cook, can say even though every single one of us wishes we could.

On NCAA 13 I was like 10 seasons in and I looked and Nick Sheridan was the head coach of Colorado. Charlie Weis was his OC and Rich Rod was the DC. I almost died laughing when I saw that combo.

I believe he was a graduate assistant at WKU last year, so this is a nice promotion really. Co-coordinator on a D1 team and I believe he is not yet 25, so that's no small feat really, it seems. I wish him well.

To add, for those of us from Saline, it's nice to see a fellow Hornet do well too.
