Nice things for the holidays
This might be a little OT, but maybe not.
It's the holidays and it's time for us to get some nice things. It's been a while since we've had nice things. All of the things used to be nice, especially the big things - January bowl games, NCAA appearances for basketball AND hockey (I know, I know, that was 15-20 years ago, but I'm older than some of you). Lately, it seems 2 of our 3 big things are always broken. Thank goodness for the smaller nice things like swimming, gymnastics, and softball (IKR?), otherwise it'd be far too bleak. Oh yeah, and my kick-a$$ UofM degree.
So in that vein, I blame...the hockey team for the loss to NJIT. They pummel OSU on Friday (generally playing better of late), so naturally the most recent truly nice thing we had was broken on Saturday.
In the interest of having nice things all around, my holiday wishes are simple:
- a killer cross-over for Irvin to get to the rim and Chatman to find his stroke
- the hottest goalie in 'Murica come late February for Red
- whoever Hackett picks to run the football team to have the full support of everyone Maize and Blue.
Not too much to ask. What are your top three asks?

Is your last name McBuckeyebitchslap? Because that would really dovetail together nicely.

I suppose if I had an MGoWishlist...
1) A football coach that the fanbase can get behind and one that can build sustained competitiveness and success again.
2) Anothe deep run in the NCAA Tournament. I am getting spoiled on these.
3) Continued success in all our varsity sports at Michigan.

That Michigan not screw-up the hiring of a football coach, again.

Jim Harbaugh as Head Coach.
All the de-commits to come back, and a couple of good signings, or poaches, for a killer recruiting class.
Someone to beat OSU.

for my lazy teenage daughter to stop talking about maybe going to Wayne State or Oakland University instead of Michigan.
I'm offering to pay for her to go to the best university in the galaxy, and she's thinking about WSU!
I have failed as a parent.
