Nice story about Amara Darboh
Kyle Meinke of annarbor.com has a good article on Amara Darboh. Discusses growing up surrounded by violence in Africa before moving to Iowa.

Great article, read it this morning. He seems like another in a long line of great kids. Glad to have him off the field as well as on.

They ran this article in the Grand Rapids Press as well. Excited for the opportunities in front of Amara!

It is an amazing story. Nice job by the coaching staff. Amara and his Angels will look good in Blue.

...more tragedy at this stage than some do in their entire lives. He sure seems like one to root for extra hard.

The grace and maturity that both Darboh and Chesson have shown, given the chaos that both had to live through in Sierra Leone and Liberia as children, is really amazing. Charles Taylor sucks.
Also, if anyone wants to place a wager on whether or not Hoke is wearing full sleeves in this picture, I'll start the bidding at 1,000,000,000,000:1.
