Thanks! I like the Bo quote about every one of them being hand-picked to beat Ohio State.

Fuck Pat Forde. I don't care how complimentary he might be, I loathe him.

Thanks for this. I was at UM 1974-1980 and didn't miss a football game. The article brought back a lot of memores--a perfect accompaniment to Ohio St. week.
Go Blue!

At least for me, there's a new wrinkle about the 1986 OSU UM Harbaugh guarantee which I learned:
That victory made Schembechler the winningingest coach in UM history. Harbaugh organized a $500 team collection to pay for a plaque for Schembechler. He had planned on giving the plaque to Schembechler the week before, but they lost in an upset to Minnesota. Adds just a touch more to 1986 OSU UM game.

Maybe undersold title as first time topic poster. Made title shorter based on feedback. Thanks.

And posting without comment on every "Harbaugh is going to the NFL" thread for the next decade.

Yeah, I'm sure an NFL front office is going to let his dad and his retired equipment manager hang out every day.

That was fun to read - thanks for posting. I don't know what it is but I just have a really good feeling about Saturday.

The most ridiculous Harbaugh 'label' is that he is a serial job-hopper. Yeah, four total head-coaching jobs--one jump was to a major division 1 program, one was to the NFL, and then to his blue-blood alma mater and he's suddenly Larry Freaking Brown.

They can't criticize his won-lost record, or player development history, so they criticize his job history.
The hell with trolls.
