Interesting piece on hockey's Zach Hyman and his journey to Michigan. Reshaping his game under Red. Sounds like he will be around for all 4 years.
premature congrats. One thing we can be sure of: he'll take fewer asinine penalties than Abdelkader
I give the story 5 labia out of 5.
The swag is back.
Kid seems really committed to the concept of college hokey and getting an education. But I have heard these tend to disappear after the first time.

I'm glad I read it because I didn't know his story. But damn it, every story like this in the Daily, there is at least one transition they make from present to past (or past to present) that makes me stop and say "Wait, what, this happened when?"
It feels like someone did a final edit just before deadline, and chopped out something that would have helped with continuity. But because they'd read the whole thing multiple times already and knew the details, they didn't realize the gap they left.
Alternative explanation: I'm kinda dumb
Great read, thanks for the link. It would be great if Hyman evolves into a Glendening/Rust type, but if he can up his game and get his goalscoring going, he could be a huge player for us.
Avatar is a reference to this. Go Blue!
...hockey beat continues to deliver. Great piece. With Zach and Spencer in the fold, the Hyman recruiting pipeline should continue to deliver quality hockey talent for some years to come.
