I thought I saw him open deep on a couple plays but Notre Dame's pass rush didn't allow Gardner the time to get the ball out to him so he opted for the closer receivers.  I hope we see him get a few catches in these next two games and he can develop into a deep threat by Big Ten season.

Impressive kid, show's a maturity you usually don't see in first and second year players.  Here's hoping his hard work pays great dividends for him down the road.

Jeremy Jackson needs to be on SP don't care that ur dad is a coach. Jehu is far more superior and really aggregates me that he hasn't been targeted. I'm putting no blame on Gardener.

Very nice interview. Chesson seems very well-spoken and very even-keeled. I like his perspective on that play as well - he was pretty aware it was an excellent block, but he immediately pointed out that this comes from what he has been coached to do. It makes me think of that article about Hecklinski and the paces that the WRs go through to learn these skills - it definitely pays off.

I hope that Borges get's Chesson more involved in the offense in the next 3 weeks before our schedule becomes more difficult. I would like to see a few plays against Akron this week where Chesson is the 1st read in the progression so that he can become a threat as a reciever and not just a blocker. I have faith that Funchess and Dileo will get their fair share of receptions and will be solid 2nd and 3rd receiving options behind Gallon but it would be nice to see Chesson become a legitimate receiving threat this year.

In May 2012, an online article at AnnArbor.com gave a good indication that Jehu Chesson is a special young man among the many mature, intelligent and articulate members of Michigan Football Team 134.  It's nice to see that the coaches are allowing some of these men to be interviewed by members of the media so that recruits and potential recruits can get a better idea of what The Michigan Difference means.  http://www.annarbor.com/sports/um-football/michigan-commit-jehu-chesson-hoping-track-exploits-translate-to-football-field/

I bet most of you are like me - I've seen Chesson play so hard the last to games doing the little things.  I love the way he impacts the game at WR without one pass being thrown his way.  I can't wait for him to make that first catch.  I'll be so excited for that first catch for him.

This is the first time I remember hearing him speak and I was very pleased.  Here is another kid that is thoughtful, well spoken, mature, responsible, says the right things, and refers back to what him coaches taught him...good stuff.
