Ohio is putting together a class that may go down as the best ever. We are not going to compare to them in terms of raw numbers, either on offense or defense.

I get your point that our offensive class could be pretty epic - having McCaffrey, likely getting Nico, DP-J and possibly 3 high 4* linemen - but take a look at OSU's class. We are NOT jumping them in pure stars on either side of the ball.

They only have 6 offensive recruits.  McCaffrey>Martell, DPJ>Grimes.  If we get a couple of the O-lineman and Harris our offensive class would without a doubt be better than OSU's.  I don't see Martell ever playing for OSU so I don't even count him.

Add Harris, Leatherwood, Ruiz, Collins, DPJ, the other high 4* players expected to sign and we're pretty damn close offensively.

Big "if" on the first three, but if it happens we are in business. I think getting Salomon back on board is pretty huge for the D.

I am tired of the NCAA not bothering to enforce their rules concerning benefits to recruits and "student-athletes."  Anyone who is paying attention can easily figure out who is opening up the pockets of friendly boosters to amass incredible recruiting classes.

It's time to make it legal for players to take money so teams like Michigan can recruit on a level playing field with teams like OSU and Bama.

Yeah, he has a 60-yd bomb and a 5-ydr to his brother Luke for TD's, so far.

What stood out to me in that story was his opponent's coach saying that he makes plays when they need a play.  When was the last time we had a QB that made plays when plays needed to be made?  I think Speight has done a fantastic job this year, and the 4th down TD in OT last week was awesome.  But I don't know that anybody would mistake him for someone that can reliably make plays when they are most needed.  The example used for this was last years state Champ game.  Pomona (the opponent) turned the ball over late holding the lead.  The next sentence was only the score showing McCaffrey's team won.  The kid makes plays.

I love that!

You're good, young man. But Harbaugh will make you great.

You will be under the watchful eye of the best goddamn QB coach on this planet. Can't wait to see what you can do when you get here.

Very nearly attended the game today. Should have! Ended up listening on the radio. The McCaffrey brothers both had great games. Congrats on a second consecutive state title, Dylan!

The end of this year has sucked, but it makes me happy to think once Peters and McCaffrey come online, we'll have elite qb play every season. Even if OSU keeps recruiting like Alabama, elite qb play will be an equalizer in the game.

Last year in the state title game against Pomona he kept the game winning drive alive by converting a 4th down run - I think it was 4th and 7. He got crushed at the end but bounced up, completely pumped. They scored a few plays later.
