Ouellet and Alfredsson in, Kindl and Bertuzzi out. Gus is also starting, but that was announced yesterday. He's been great all year and two nights ago, but man is it terrifying to watch him in net sometimes.

Strader instead of Emrick, yaaaaaaaaaaay.  Still Olcyzk, but half of my least favorite announcing tandem in sports is out, so small victories.

EDIT: Oh right, fucking Pierre is still there.  So one third.

I really don't like justin as a first/second liner. he is not able to keep up with them. even as a spartan i really like his style of play, but as a third liner. there he can still be physical and a real potential scoring threat against other 3rd/4th liners

Team just doesn't have it this year.  The fact that they even made the playoffs just shows what a coach Babcock is.

I honestly don't know if there is anything franzen could do to get scratched, he takes a penalty on the PP and will still be out there for any PP's we get the rest of the game

Fwiw I'm listening to the Bruins radio broadcast on XM radio and they are questioning the last two Wings penalties. Their color guy said "woo boy the game sure has changed. Not sure what the Wings did to earn either penalty but thank you." The play by play dude was laughing "hey they just got ANOTHER one....."

The Franzen penalty was ticky-tacky by old timer standards but the game's been called that way since after the second to last lockout so as a player you have to know better.

The Smith penalty was warranted in my opinion.  He cross-checked the guy square in the back of the numbers taking him out of the play.  Just a boneheaded move.  He's been getting suckered into playing Boston's game and not his all series long.

The problem is those are the type of penalties that could be called 50 times in a playoff game. To randomly make those calls out of the blue, when they are being they let go so often in the series, is the bullshit part.  Guys having been getting cross-checked in front of the net all series, with no call most of the time.  Either call it all the time, or not at all, otherwise it is BS. They were both sell jobs by Boston as well. There is nothing that drives people more crazy than a lack of consistent from officials.

They also missed a possible interference call off the faceoff.
