Here's to an exciting night of hockey!
Ottawa @ NY Rangers 7:00pm ET
Washington @ Boston 7:30pm ET
San Jose @ St. Louis 7:30pm ET
Chicago @ Phoenix 10:00pm ET
for the Blackhawks in game 1. He's missed the last 22 games due to concussion symptoms.
Apparently there is free reign on smashing opposing players' heads into the boards tonight! Brendan Shanahan doesn't care.
Always rooting for the Canadian teams aside from the Wings. Let's go Sens.
I was surprised that Weber didn't get at least 1 game for that hit.
Pussy to the powers that be.
I'd like to see the Rangers, Bruins, Blues, and Coyotes move on. I have a soft spot for the Blues since they've been ever so terrible the last few years.
Can't wait until this stupid Corporations reading is done with. Then- drinking and hockey. (perhaps if I wasn't screwing around on here, the reading would get done sooner...hmm...prolly not)
Who's rooting for whom in these games? I'm definitely rooting for the 'Yotes over the Hawks and then I guess I'm just rooting for upsets in the Blues and Canucks series. Those are the only two teams it'd be nice to avoid playing if we can make it to the next round.
I'm rooting for the Blackhawks because they're my favorite team and they're awesome. I'm also rooting for either Washington or Boston to score so it doesn't go to overtime and run over the Chicago-Phoenix game.
Ottawa played a lot better than that score indicates, but looks like they have no shot in that series. East is going to come down to Pens-Rangers and that should be a great series.
For what it's worth, on Hockey Night in Canada Coach's Corner, Grapes thought the Weber fine was BS. Shanahan layed down an iron fist all regular season and then came up lame when the playoffs came around.
guess I shouldn't say that after the Flyers huge comeback last night.... woops
Outside of the Wings, I'm rooting for the Senators. I think it'd be cool if a Candian team finally won a Cup but I don't like rooting for the top seeds (Canucks).
I love rooting for the Canadian teams. I feel pretty fortunate that southeaster Michigan gets CBC, I absolutely love Hockey Night in Canada.
Still, it's almost mind-boggling how poorly most of the Canadian teams are run at the management level. How the hell have the Leafs and Canadiens been this bad for so long? At least the Canucks have set a bench mark for success, but other than that the Canadian teams have been horrible for the last two decades.
This Blues-Sharks game has been great so far. Excited for OT.
To my eye to read all the love fir the true north strong and free! That said , for tonight all I want to see is that freaking tea party bastard of a goalie go down hard
It's just a short hop over the bridge to Windsor for me.
Go London Knights!
Jonathan Toews hits a goal and Chicago takes a 1-0 lead! I know this because NBC showed a highlight of it since they're in intermission before OT for Bruins-Capitals...
Go Hawks! So glad that Toews made it back after missing the last 22 games.
tied at 84, going into OT
Who cares about the NBA.
Bulls win 96-86
Blues-Sharks too good for just one OT. 2OT starting up now.
Phoenix gets away with too many men on the ice and evens it up 1-1
As long as at least one of the top two seeds goes down I'll be happy and they bothlost game 1.
Chicago pulls their goalie and ties it up 2-2! We're heading to overtime
