It looks like it's going to be a wet one in both games tonight.

Arizona @ Carolina - 4:20PM ET on ESPN

Baltimore @ Pittsburgh - 8:15PM ET on NBC

Yeah, Carolina probably has a chip on their shoulders because so many people are talking about how they don‘t belong in the playoffs with their poor record. I would assume that they’re motivated to prove people wrong just like Seattle did a few years ago by winning their home playoff game, even though they had a poor season record.

Two Cincinnati natives starting for the panthers today: Andrew Norwell (Anderson HS, Ohio State) and Luke Kuechly (St. Xavier, Boston College) - so many products out of the city in the last 10 years

Carolina has an offensive line that consister of exactly one player that isn't a rookie or an undrafed FA.  Some are both.  What Newton has done with that offense shows he is well worth the 100 million.  Guy has been playing hurt all year and laying it on the line.

Ron Rivera did what most coaches are hesitant to do and that his bench his verterans and insert a couple of rookies.  That turned around Carolina's secondary and its season.  That team is going to be very good when they get Hardy's cap hit off the roster and spend it on some actual players.

The refs are doing a terrible job with this game.  An awful personal foul call and letting Arizona sub when they clearly shouldn't be allowed to.

Ryan Lindley from his own 2 yard line.  This should be interesting.  I'd say either Carolina blows coverage and allows about a 90 yard TD or they get the safety.

That one was clearly on Cotchery.  He broke off his route for some unknown reason.

Right call on the goal line there, but Arizona has gotten a lot of breaks from the official.  The illegal contact flag they for some reason picked up as Gruden said was clearly wrong.

Arizona just gave the game away in 2 plays. The stupid fumble, and the stupid PI where the defender climbed the receivers shoulder, for no reason.

Arizona got jobbed?  Arizona got their first TD directly of an awful personal foul call and Carolina had another drive ended when the refs picked up a defensive holding flag saying Newton had already thrown the ball (which he clearly did not).

Also absolutely never call intentional grounding when the defensive lineman trys throw the QB down like that.  No reasonable person can possibly say he wasn't trying to throw it to a receiver.
