2 star mafia
The last two OT's taken #1 overall have been from Michigan. I think he went to Sealholm so he and Jake Long are both from the same area too (relatively speaking). Pretty cool
Though it would have been awesome if a Maple had gone #1 overall.
"He played down to the competition, struggling against guys he shouldn't have."
Uhhhh yeah. I need to keep that kind of logic in my back pocket. Well ladies and gentleman, it's been fun. First overall pick is from CMU. The world is ending.
Fellow chip going number 1. Wish he would have fell to 5 though.
An open thread is fun, but this needs a live blog. I <3 me some Live blog.
Good for him. I hope he does well.
Was hoping he would drop to the Lions but I ain't mad at him.
Somehow, I expect the Raiders to totally screw up this next pick.
Committment to Excrement.
Thought for sure the Lions would be moving up to take Lane Johnson if the two OTs went off the board first. Kind of looking like that won't happen.
because he's fast
Raiders select: Usain Bolt
Curious to see who the Dolphins take. I assume they're going to get the LT from Kansas City as they didn't trade up for Joeckel, so the need for the OL won't be as dire. Either way it won't matter, I guess, as mediocrity and below is the way of the 'Phins.
Whew...I thought the Lions were going to trade up for a second there.
Who do the Lions go after now? Lane Johnson will be off the board with this trade.
Man if three tackles go the first three...man Lewan...
Would've been the undisputed number 1 overall prospect going into the draft after battling Clowney. Somehow I see Fisher having a less than Lewan-like performance against Clowney.
Eh, most still had Jockel ahead of him even after the bowl. And he wouldn't have the senior bowl. But still, three tackles in the top four? Probably two guards in the first round? He would go ahead of Johnson. Geez. But he can still be the best tackle next year, and someone next year in the top 5 will also need an LT as well.
Didnt see that coming.
Miami needed a tackle.
The KC tackle? Is there any reason that wouldn't be in the works still?
I had heard about this earlier but figured since they let it slide to the draft it wasn't a go
Jordan at three eh? Reeeeaaaacchhh
Seems like a prime candidate for a bust. His highlight package right here is almost entirely plays where he is completely unblocked
everyone around you is setting you up for your choice of reasonable picks. pleeeeeeezzzeeee nooooo ansah.
They'll take Ansah. It's the Lions. What else do you expect?
The Eagles are probably celebrating. They really wanted a tackle.
Lions are either going Ansah, or trading back.
This whole motherfluffer will burn down if they take Tavon Austin.
I think Ansah is a reach
Tavon Austin equals the Detroit equivalent of the Sparty couch fire
Lions are hosed. Trade down.
Ok Lions...take Dee or trade back
lions are gonna pick ansah i just know it.
Dee Milliner Plz!!
Raiders really could not get more for the 3rd pick than the 12th and 42nd? ... Thats not close to equal on the pick value chart.
Come on trade alert. Come on trade alert...
Just got fucked.
Squares and rectangles.
Pick is in? NOOOOOOOOOOOOO!
I like Dee Milliner here as a value pick; if his health is good he'd help the Lions for the next six to eight years
ansah is not gonna be as good as avril, and our team wasn't great with avril. so get a piece at a different position. pleeeeeeezzzz
Memories of Barkevious Mingo's recruitment to Michigan...
BARRY BARRY BARRY
Barry Sanders is everywhere this week.
ugh. worst possible pick.
Oh my god, just look at him.
