NFC championship open thread

Title says it all. First game was kind of slow until the 4th. I expect this game to provide a bit more excitement.

Also, this thread can serve double duty as a Sunday night (of a three day weekend for many) drinking thread.

I officially love Richard Sherman (joking, but for the next 5 minutes I do).

"Stop bitching and fuckin adapt."

HAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!! Truer words have never been spoken. I need a t-shirt with that on it. Quote of the month, I love it. Bravo Dick Sherman, bravo.

As a 49ers fan, I'm pretty disappointed. Refs definitely messed up but we still had a shot to win and came up short, reminded me of the OSU-Michigan game ending. Still, 3 conference championships in 3 straight years is pretty great and I'm confident in the management and coaching to keep us at this level.

I was torn today because obviously TMFB!... But as a sports fan how can you not love Peyton and want him to get a ring? So now it's real easy to root for Peyton after Sherman's class act. /s. Is he from Ohio by any chance? Go broncos.

I don't love Peyton Manning. He's already got a ring.  He's always compared to Tom Brady since they are contemporaries and I'd prefer Brady to have the lead in Super Bowls by a good margin. Also the love fest he got in the 1997 season was pretty annoying.

I'm not really rooting for the Seahawks either but I may prefer it over hearing how god-like Peyton Manning is.

You make the assumption that people are more upset about this than real world problems despite a lack of information that indicates that is the case. Sheer brilliance on your part.

Are you Richard Sherman? You seem to be taking criticism of him awfully personally.
