Next Years Schedule

Submitted by GRMichFan on

I know we still have our bowl game, but was looking at next years schedule for the potential night game.  Brandon did say he wanted one a year.

To me the only reasonable option is October 20!  What a great atmosphere to end the spartie streak at 4.

Any other options?

I'm pretty sure that it is 14 April, because Michigan wants to set the record for lacrosse attendance, and it is an easy trick to add to the attendance numbers by having a doubleheader with the spring football game.

I agree with DB here.  You shouldn't have a night game just for the sake of having a night game.    Sparty would make the most sense.  After reading the Detroit News article I don't think he's ruled that out, however, they will have to look at it from every angle and in different ways than they did with ND because it's an instate rivalry that's turned nasty as of late.  I would love to see UTL II vs. sparty but I am not going to get my hopes up.

For once, I agree with David Brandon.  There is no way Sparty fans can be trusted not to turn Ann Arbor into a criminal cesspool if the MSU game is played at night.  Besides, the entire square mile around the stadium would reek of stale beer and urine for weeks.

In 3 years the Big Ten and the SEC aren't going to be that different.

I'll take Hoke, Meyer, Mullin, Pelini, Bielema, Dantonio, and Ferentz over Saban, Miles, Petrino, Chizik, Muschamp, Richt, OBC, and Sherman

Besdes Saban and Miles, the others aren't much different than Hoke.  Sure Spurrier won, but hasn't done so in a long time. Chizik won a national title, but we all know how that happened. Big Ten Football is on the verge of doing what Big Ten basketball did a few years ago when almost every team went out and hired a great coach.
