Weren't some players complaining about this "Techfit" material last year? I don't remember specifics but I recall that it wasn't much of a hit with some players.

I hate them and I hate the socks and hate the gloves even more. Our traditional uniforms are killer. Why do this? For the kids?

This is worse in the video than in the pictures.  I cannot believe I'm actually going to have to watch these re-used Arena-League jerseys grace Michigan football players.  Shame on you Dave Brandon, shame on you.  Tradition... go to hell, the fourteen year olds who wear jeans falling off their asses and shirts 10x too big think this looks "cool".

Herm, this is not 1912. This is 2012. It's a new day and age.

Michigan is still wearing the Blue helmet with Maize wings, Blue home jersey and Maize pants. That's the tradition. Nothing wrong with a little changing it up once in awhile.

Sorry Herm, gotta call bullshit on this one. As a 16 year-old who wears jeans that fit and flannel shirts, I gotta say, I like these jerseys.

You don't have to like them either. They aren't for you. In all honesty, jerseys should be picked by the players, because holy shit, that's what this is all about. College football is such a diluted cash cow that fans and alumni think they have a RIGHT to dictate what goes on. By donating to the program, or attending games, or supporting the team and the university you should be doing that because you want to see these kids perform well. You shouldn't be paying to complain about what color uniforms they are running out in.

As for tradition, hell yeah, I love me some tradition. Michigan has tradition. Michigan was also innovative. Why can't that be part of the Michigan tradition?

posted this in the "ANOTHER jersey for the Bama game" cause I thouhgt I would get shredded for starting a new thread about a jersey everyone seems to hate... props for having the balls, lol.

These look badass on an actuall moving person! I wish these were the permanent away uni's

I like these better than the atrocities that we wore against MSU last year but that's not hard. I still think I liked the Sugar Bowl jerseys more. But I'm willing to give a chance to see them live before coming to a final decision.

They do look better in the video and they are starting to grow on me.  Not bad.

As for all the "traditional" talk, which away jersey is supposed to be our traditional one?  The white jerseys have continued to change over the years.

its the back with the yellow across the top that sucks to me. I wish the video showed that so I could see how that looks on a person.

Yes, I hate the uni's (particularly the socks and gloves), but I'll get over it with a win. What bothers me most is the blatant use of UM to advertise Adidas. I know, I know, that ship sailed shortly after the Nina, Pinta and Santa Hoke-Lovin' Maria, but still, this is Michigan (ferdivinityofchoicesake). It all just feels cheap (and for me to feel cheapER takes a lot).

My only complaint is the back. I am in favor of player names, especially for this huge game, because it will launch Denard's Heisman campaign and most fuckstick SEC fans need to know how to spell his name on their ballots. If no names, then leave it plain. To say Michigan on the back is not only ass ugly, but it gives a sort of lack of confidence that people won't know what team is on the field. The helmet says it all, we don't need to have te word Michigan printed on the back. That's like spelling Mercedes on te hood, everyone knows what the 3 pointed star stands for. We don't need it.
